Perfect location couple of minutes walk to the centre of everything. Really nice apartment very modern and clean. Balcony is ideal if you like to watch the vibrant street below. Host could not be any more helpful. Very thoughtful and caring for our wellbeing and comfort during our stay and even after we vacated the apartment.

“Casa 1926 - a dream come true”

Crete has been a longtime dream for my family, and it would not have been possible without CASA 1926. The apartment is a little gem in the center of Chania, enough for a family of four to enjoy a pleasant stay. All the attractions are within arm's reach, and the location is a super convenient access point to all the beaches on the island. The furnishings are lovely, and the apartment has everything you need to feel home. I have no words for the amazing service from the hosts Stefanos and Despoina. Never before have we received such honest and human service, even though we have traveled halfway around the world. Due to an accident, it turned out that we didn't have keys to the apartment. Despoina responded at 1 am in the middle of the night and unlocked our door. The whole time we were looked after as if we were visiting relatives and not in a rented apartment. Thank you, Stefanos and Despoina. Thank you, sunny Crete. Our family will love you always!

Amazing location in the center of the town with everything in walking distance. The hosts were always available to answer every single question we had and were very supportive with suggestions. The house is in very good location, and there are a lot of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. It's also super clean and well-furnished. The owners have prepared almost everything you need. A good place to stay in Chania.

I can confirm what has already been mentioned in the other reviews. The hosts are very friendly and went out of their way to help and ensure we had all we needed (for example, Stefanos recommended a convenient car park nearby). The apartment is in a top location right around the corner from the old town. It is spacious and was very comfortable for us three.

Location was exceptional - only steps away from Old Town, a short walk to a local beach, and the bus station. The hosts were exceptional - always quick to respond to messages and often checked in to see how our stay was or if we needed anything. It is obvious that they take great pride in their guests experience.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until our departure. the flat was cozy, modern and situated in a perfect location, the only small thing is that it is on a louder street, but that was not a big problem either. it is also an advantage though there are many places to eat on this street as well. The host are going above and beyond to make you feel home and well taken care of. When we arrived there were some local and homemade goodies waiting for us on the table. We also took something accidentally from a flat and realized when we were already far in athens, it was not problem hosts did not require us to ship anything back, they just replaced it. super easy going, but also attentive hosts. I would definitely stay there again and i full recommend this place.

Very clean and very convenient at the top of the main tourist street and only 3 mins from the main bus station so great for day trips. Buses are cheap and good.

“Amazing location with modern comforts”

We had a fantastic stay at Casa 1926 during our 8 night visit to Chania. This place is highly rated and our experience matched those reviews. The photos are exactly how the place appears in reality and it was super useful having things like a full size fridge and a washing machine given the length of our stay! You could not get a better location - a less than 5 minute walk to the old town and also an easy 15 minute walk to nea chora beach (the closest beach on foot although there are many more to be seen by bus and car!!). The apartment is also close to the taxi rank and bus stops as well as to countless bakeries where we got the best coffee and pastries each morning. Although it’s in a central location the windows offer excellent sound proofing and finally the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. Stefanos and Despina were very welcoming and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible.
