“The amazing AZADE HOTEL”

We booked this last minute as we had finished a long week of hiking on the South coast of Crete and wanted a change of scenery. We were delighted to have got a last minute booking as we had a faultless and exceptional stay at the superb Azade Boutique Hotel. From the welcome from Xanthos to the superbly appointed rooms, and the outstanding breakfast choices which were custom cooked for each individual with a variety of fresh a la carte ingredients, it was sad to leave. The rooms felt very private, the bathroom and living space were exceptional, with satellite TV, air conditioning which was both powerful AND quiet! It was the perfect place to relax and yet, it was right in the heart of the old town, minutes away from shops and restaurants and harbour. We will be back for sure!

Azade is located in the heart of the old town, the perfect location for a stay in Chania. The historic building is beautiful and has been masterfully restored to honour its rich heritage whilst still providing all the modern and state of the art comforts you could possibly need. We enjoyed learning about the building’s history from the knowledgable hotel manager Xanthos. Our suite was spacious, bright and beautifully decorated for a calming and relaxing stay. Excellent bedding and toiletries are provided. We would also recommend the breakfast as an opportunity to choose from a wide range of local delicacies with excellent coffee to start the day. Above all else, the service was superb. All staff were friendly and attentive especially Dora and Maria and created a calming environment. In particular we would like to thank Dora for all her help in arranging taxis and making sure we didn’t miss our onward ferry! We will be back and have recommended Azade to many friends already.

Azade is aesthetically beautiful. It is in a super location. The rooms are well planned, practical and very comfortable. Every detail well thought through to maximise comfort and relaxation. The staff are charming, helpful and discrete. Breakfast in the courtyard is such a joy. This was our second stay. We cant think of a single negative.

Exceptionally nice hotel. The staff was very kind, the room always cleaned to perfection, the breakfast was very tasty and was adjusted to our preferences. It is also very quiet even if it’s in the middle of the turbulent old town. Not to mention the interior, which was really pretty and tasteful. Would always recommend this beautiful place.

Azade the absolute best Hotel in Chania, we stayed there three times in one month. We have stayed in many places in Chania, but this place is levels above what is usually offered. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished and it is a pleasure to stay at the hotel. The staff is extremely service minded and always just a call away. At Azade, you feel very welcome the moment you enter the hotel door. The location is very central, there is a nice calm in the hotel and the breakfast is delicious. Absolutely highly recommended for guests who expect a higher but also more relaxed atmosphere. Azade is our place in Chania from now on..

“Comfortable and beautiful experience in the heart of the charming streets of Chania.”

The property is retained and restored in the old Grecian way. Lovely, minimal architecture. The staff here were so helpful and accommodating , whether it was sightseeing or restaurants recommendations, everything was top notch. We dealt a lot with Xanthos and Iro, both so kind and helpful. The breakfast is also delicious and the staff was so warm. I can’t recommend this place enough. The place is spotless and the rooms are so spacious too.

“Gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Chania”

What can I say, Azade is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels. The interior design is stunning, the terrace views are gorgeous and the rooms are exceptionally clean. Artemis is also so awesome, she helped us with so many things including recommendations and her professionalism was outstanding.
