Alcanea Boutique Hotel boasts a unique waterfront location in Chania’s Old Town. “Luxury in a historical setting”
You could sense the history of the 500 year old building overlooking the old Venetian fort. Exceptionally updated to a luxury level while taking nothing away from its beautiful character. Our room was massive with amazing views and great staff.

This is a lovely historic hotel right on the harbour in Chania. The staff were amazing, so helpful throughout. Lovely breakfast each morning (even supplied us with take out when an excursion left early), bottled water refreshed each day in the room, wine upon arrival.

We love everything about this hotel, it is our 6th visit. The location is perfect for the old town, the rooms and public areas are lovely, the breakfast is great and all of the staff, especially the 2 many, are just excellent, we look forward to returning each year.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of wonderful. The property itself is clean, stylish, and comfortable, offering everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. What truly made the experience exceptional was the manager, From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
