“Far from good”

The front desk staff at Hyatt Regency Changchun were professional and polite, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall stay was overshadowed by a very poor room service experience and a serious issue with guest privacy. Firstly, the hotel uses delivery robots for guest orders, but during my stay there were so many deliveries that the two robots were completely overwhelmed. I was later told it would take around 20 minutes for delivery, and guests were expected to go downstairs to collect their own orders. This was never communicated to me, so I waited more than 10 minutes unnecessarily. The lack of information was frustrating and set a negative tone for the stay. What really upset me, however, was what happened later in the afternoon. At around 4pm, while I was napping in my room, a hotel security staff member knocked several times and attempted to enter my room, claiming there was a policy requiring the hotel to enter the room once within 24 hours. I was never informed of this policy. I was in my underwear at the time, and thankfully my door was locked from the inside. They also claimed they had called my room multiple times, but I was inside the room the entire time and did not receive any calls. To make matters worse, I had the Do Not Disturb light clearly turned on. Guests have every right to rest in their rooms without being disturbed, especially when DND is activated. I am honestly shocked that a hotel under the Hyatt name would handle guest privacy in this way. This experience was unacceptable, and it completely ruined my stay. I will not return to this property and will be making a formal complaint.

The stuff, actually the head of the buffet breakfast, he is a very rude person, even let’s say a racist. It’s probably a wrong word to describe him, but his behavior really makes me uncomfortable

Hi, it is my second stay in this hotel. The room is really not met the expectations. The shower is blocked at night, no tissues paper found at night, and the toilet door cannot close with lots of noise …… your maintenance staff is kind and repairing partially, But is is very annoying during my limited stay in the city I have to spend extra time on this

“Hyatt standard”

High quality spacious room with comfy beddings and all amenities you need. Fantastic view overlooking the city can see the sunset from my room. Helpful staff. Breakfast was good with many varieties.

Got upgraded after no being able to get us all on the same floor. Room was cozy. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food at business center is amazing also.
