Amazing (cold!) pool and shared space, beautiful view, super friendly and helpful staff. Really nice sea breeze by the pool up on the first floor too.

“The perfect place to slow down 😌✨”

I stayed 4 nights as Casa Gitana. Was planning on staying 2 nights, but I loved it so much and had to extend my stay. The place was amazing. It’s located away from the village, which means it’s super calm and quiet. It means though that it’s a bit of a walk into the village, but I didn’t mind it. Walking home on the beach after sunset, in the dark was quite magical as you can see a ton of stars and the bioleminescense in the ocean ✨😍 The facilities were great too, and the pool was wonderful, with a view to the ocean. Last but not least the staff are such sweethearts, so helpful and kind ♥️ The only thing I missed was a board of their names, as I’m quite bad with names 😅 Oh and they have the cutest dog there. Nothing feels more like home, than a place with a dog ♥️ Also the village and neoghbourhood is filled with amazing people. Everyone was so kind and helpful - and very forgiving of my poor spanish. Will definitely come back and I strongly recommend it to everyone who likes slowpaced and calm vibes 😌✨

The most amazing beach in checahua. Noelia, Martin, Marc and Helena were amazing, super helpful and friendly. We had a magical stay, we didn't want to leave.

Lovely relaxing vibe, perfect for taking in the sound of crashing waves! Loved the little cabana with doors opening to an ocean view . The food kindly prepared by the managers was delicious and the pool terrace atmosphere and view were very relaxing 😎

😊 We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Gitana. We stayed in one of the two rooms above the pool area. The view is great and there’s always air circulating through the rooms. The staff was very friendly as well. The pool area is super nice especially during the day when it’s too hot to be anywhere in the Sun. 😟 There are few areas in the hotel which could be maintained a little bit better. I hope I will take care of these things as it would be a shame for this place to get all rundown. We will go back and find out.

We stayed at Hotel Gitana for a week and absolutely loved it. The staff were wonderful — relaxed, friendly, and always professional. The rooms were fantastic; after spending so much time without air-conditioning, it felt like such a luxury to finally relax in cool comfort. The location couldn’t be better — it truly feels like paradise. We’d definitely recommend Hotel Gitana to friends and family looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway.

“Great place, nice people and very tasty food”

Beat place in Chacahua. Beautiful Palapa with pool. We had the cabaña right to the beach with an amazing view. Martin and Noelia are very sympathetic hosts. Not to forget the delicious breakfasts and lunch’s. We enjoyed our stay very much.

“10/10 staff, space, the works”

The rooms were amazing, perfect. On the beach, ideal for sunrise and sunset viewing. Really comfortable, awesome with the a/c as it was super hot out. Also the pool area was a dream. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. 10/10

Casa Gitana feels like a home away from home. The rooms are clean and cool, the hosts (and their lovely dog) are super friendly and the pool area as well as the beach are great to relax. Breakfast options are good, and they have a different healthy dish for lunch every day. The town centre is about a 15 min walk. Overall, would highly recommend staying here!

“Probably the best place to stay in chacahua”

We loved our stay our casa gitana. Not only because its a beautiful place, but mostly thanks to Noe and Martin. They created a very familiar atmosphere, they made sure everyone had a good time and their food is very delicious. We stayed in the front beach hut and loved sleeping to the sound of the waves and with the ceiling fan the temperature was very comfortable to sleep at night. Make sure to get a massage from viola as well, she‘s incredible. Would definitely recommend and come again anytime

“Magical secluded spot run by lovely people - you won't regret it!”

We had a magical time at Casa Gitana- it is a really special place and I couldn't recommend it enough. Noe and Martin are amazing hotel managers who really looked after us and made sure everyone was having a fantastic time. The hotel itself is beautiful, Noe cooks really tasty food and there are lots of comfy sun loungers and places to relax in the sun or shade.

We had a great stay at La Casa Gitana. The location is amazing—right by the sea, with the rooms opening directly onto it. It’s just far enough from town to be peaceful, yet only a 10-minute walk away, which is perfect. The place is well-equipped, and Noelia, our host, was incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

“Nice stay and pool but some points for improvement”

The couple who run the place are very kind and welcoming. The facilities, such as the pool, are very comfortable, we used it a lot. The rooftop pool is amazing as well, although it’s not always available. Communication beforehand was excellent, with clear instructions on how to get there. We had some problems with our cabin, they handled it very quick and came with a solution. They also organize activities, like communal dinner.
