Overview
Résidence L'Ecrin des Neiges is located in Chamrousse, south of the Belledonne Massif. It features an indoor swimming pool , and is located just 100 metres from the ski lifts. Each apartment has a private balcony or terrace with mountain views. They also have a kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge and a coffee maker. Ski equipment hire is available on site and Wi-Fi access is provided at reception. Résidence L'Ecrin des Neiges also provides ski storage facilities. Many winter sports are available in the area, such as ice skating and sledge riding. This residence is just 350 metres from the shops, and Grenoble Airport is 78 km away. Guests can ski straight from the residence. I covered parking area is available at a surcharge and an exterior parking is available for free.

Basic accommodation (which we expected). Everything you need for a snow holiday. the view from the balcony was exceptional.

“Excellent ski location”
Great ski location. Close to all amenities. Staff were helpful, although I did have to wait for 45minutes in reception queue to get some bedding and towels on arrival. From reading other reviews, it seems we were lucky that our room was clean on arrival. Kitchen was well equipped although no kettle or mugs so we boiled water in a saucepan and drank out of bowls (not ideal but made it work)

We stayed in one bed apartment as a family of 5. Lots of space. The place was clean and had all the features we needed. One step away from ski lifts, parking and swimming pool! Shops are close too. There was a beautiful view from the balcony where there was a table and chairs to dine outside and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Highly recommending!

“Great location and facilities, but could do with some improvements”
It was in a central location so everything could be accessed easily. The staff were very friendly. A great place for all ability levels on the ski slopes. Linen and towels weren’t provided when we checked in, but that was quickly resolved by reception team. The rooms were very well insulated- considering it was a blizzard outside we weren’t cold.
