Overview
Set in the picturesque town of Saint Jacques, Hotel Genzianella offers rooms and apartments, panoramic mountain views, and a lounge bar with fireplace. Ski storage is provided, and Champoluc is 3 km away. With satellite flat-screen TV, rooms at the Genzianella are decorated in a mountain style, and most have balconies overlooking the hotel’s garden or the town.The apartments include a kitchenette and dining area. A generous breakfast buffet is provided daily, with home made cakes and jam. The Frachey and Champoluc ski lifts are connected by frequent shuttle buses running throughout the day and well into the night. The area is known as Monterosa Ski and includes Gressoney and Alagna, for a total of 180 kilometres of tracks. Hotel Genzianella offers a partnership card allowing access and reduced fares at a series of restaurants and inns, 3 sportswear stores, a massage parlour and other facilities in town. During winter the hotel may only be available for long stays of 2 or more nights.

We had a room with kitchenette for ski week. We found it a perfect selection. Location: close to best ski lift in whole Monte Rosa area. It is where the bus line ends and hiking trails start. Small and homey family run hotel, with friendly staff that is ready to help you with all your questions. Breakfast with many choices. We love it!

“Perfect for weekend on slopes in Monterosa”
Breakfast buffet was excellent, great selection of food - croissants, eggs, cereals, waffles, freshly baked cakes. Host Gianpaolo couldn’t be more helpful, even finding us somewhere to watch the Six Nations rugby.

“Amazing place with an amazing host!”
The Genzianella Hotel is situated about 1km away from the Frachey lift, so the location is excellent for skiing. The room was warm and clean. Gianpaolo was the best host ever, he was always very nice, responsive and helpful. I really had a great time here. P.S. I found the “cook it yourself” breakfast amazing, it really made you feel like home.

Trails start from your doorstep. Located in a quaint little village. Very friendly and helpful owners. They are clearly there to serve you. Very good breakfast.

Very nice location at the end of the valley. Calm and relaxing. Just beside the river. Owners very friendly and helpful. Meant to stay just one night I eventually stayed three.
