Staff went out of their way to help me with a personal issue. At all times they were friendly and interested in making my stay enjoyable. The food at the hotel was good and the breakfast was a highlight.

Breakfast choices were excellent. Ranged from full American to Lao to continental. I tried American and continental both of which were very good and the Lao breakfast looked as if it were great as well and I would have tried it had I stayed an extra day.

“Great stay with quiet surroundings.”
Everything was excellent. The room was clean and the room was “turned down” every evening. Shades were drawn and bed arranged. The restaurant was first class!

“Peaceful and relaxing stay”
Fantastic hotel, very peaceful and quiet location. They had some bicycles which we borrowed to cycle to vat phou. Breakfast was awesome, so much food.

“Amazing stay!”
This is an actual excellent stay. You get a lot of hotels rated 10/10 and still not meeting the excellent standards. We loved everything about our stay at Residence Bassac. We stayed in the duplex room which was gorgeous and super comfortable. The downstairs had a nice desk, sofa, and toilet. Upstairs was great with very comfortable bed and really nice high quality bedding with access to nice balcony. Huge thanks to the cleaning staff who were remarkable! We don’t know your names but we are very grateful for your care and attention during our stay. THANK YOU! Also, the restaurant and front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. Overall, we had a memorable stay and loved every second of it.

“A lovely place across from the river (I hope they do build a pool!)”
The rooms are gorgeous and very well appointed, surrounding a lovely courtyard garden. The restaurant/ lounge area is very nice. They also have a dining/lounge area on the riverside, perfect for watching the sunrise. Staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. The robes and slippers felt luxurious. Everything was in good taste. The included breakfast was pretty good, particularly the Laotian noodle soup. Mineral water was provided.

“A real gem in this beautiful little town.”
Fantastic location - had a wonderful river view from my room. The rooms were very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Efficient ac and also a fan. The restaurant was lovely and a good selection of food options and a wine list. Delicious breakfast! The staff were very welcoming and so helpful with arranging my trip to Wat Phu. Absolutely loved it!
