“Beautiful place but the listing was incorrect”

There were a variety of quite different rooms on the premises, two were available and I choose one with lovely wooden shutters that blacked out really well.

rooms were dated, but nice, bathroom large, garden and hammocks on the river lovely. owner can arrange bus tickets etc to pakse or Siphandon. bike and motorbike rentals available at the property

“A great place to stay in Champasak”

Lovey big clean room and a lovey garden. The staff are really friendly and you can hire bikes and motors from them.

“Spacious room in nice garden”

Nice rooms with balcony. Friendly people. I had a large room with a table, a dressing table, very nice towels, shower with hot water, a blanket ánd a sheet, air con and fan, free (hot) water all day and could rent a bicycle. I do not know what people want more…

“Suspicious”

Shortly after booking a room, I received an email saying it wasn't available at that price - no apology and a strong implication I should just pay more for it. I cancelled and once they recognised i wouldn't pay a higher price, another email suggested there had been a system error. All very dubious . . .

“A room with a view”

The owners and their intergenerational family are very friendly and helpful. The food is good and we managed to get veg fried rice for breakfast. We could walk from the bus terminus to the hotel without difficulty. When we moved on the price included a boat from the hotel to the minivan pick up point. The room was spacious and we had a good view of the Mekong river from the porch. The aircon worked well. It was very easy to hire bikes to cycle to Wat Phou.

I did not stay.

“Peaceful place with a great view, needs some improvement.”

We payed extra for the only room with direct river view. It has a little terrace with an amazing sunrise view over the peaceful river. From the other rooms you can see the river but there is a small garden in between. So if you want the best room we suggest to book the most expensive one (no 123). Bed was okay. Staff was helpful.

“More a Homestay than Guest House”

Had a wonderful time here, so much I extended my stay.. The best place I have stayed in Laos. Noukone and family were very kind and attentive. The children were rays of sunshine and even the dog and cat were nice. The food, served on a riverside veranda was good. I ate all my meals there. Motor scooters and bicycles are for rent, even kayaks! The room was spacious and quite. Really enjoyed Muang Champasak. Lots to do and see, but still very chill. Be sure to go to the evening shows ( Tues, Wed., Thu, Fri.) Much nicer than Pakse

This area is really beautiful. Very peaceful. Better than Paksé for sure. The owners of the hostel are very kind and they try to do the best to make you feel confortable. It's cheap the place comparing with others. And they have a good menu food.

I love the way that the rooms are constructed on a one-storey only. The garden is very green and pleasant. I feel lost in the lovely tropical garden. The table and chairs in front of each room are a bonus for people who love to sit outside and have food next to their room. I was travelling with a large family of 8, and they had a big wooden table with a lot of chairs, so we could buy food from outside and eat on the property, enjoying the fresh air from the Mekong.

“Loved this quirky place”

this is a quirky place. clean, comfy, good wifi, great location for Phong su, local potteries, and rice trails. on the banks of the Mekong with amazing views and owner can arrange travel to 4000 Islands direct from Champasak. This trip was wonderful: down wooden steps to a narrow boat, cross the Mekong to the bus. all the google searches wanted a return to Pakse
