The Rondavel was in such a great location for us. Very close to hiking and conveniently situated near restaurants.

Wonderful location only 10mins from monks cowl and nice shops and restaurant nearby. The owners are lovely and welcoming, very knowledgeable about trails and happy to give advice. The room is so well kept, comfortable and has everything you need. The surrounding is beautiful. We’d love to go back one day!

Right on the main road that goes to Monk's Cowl (just 10 minutes further). The resort right across the road has a shop and restaurant (which I also recommend). My Rondavel was comfortable and stocked with all of the necessities. The electric frying pan was handy. Wifi was great and it was nice to have a real table and chairs (I did some work while I was there). The owners are pleasant, available, and informative. The dogs are very friendly and well-behaved. I saw a lot of incredible birds on the property. The view of the valley from my door was fantastic! Very good value.

I booked accommodation midweek expecting quiet accommodation to be greeted by MANY children running around accommodation and staying next door. It would be pretty obvious to inform someone booking of school scenario whilst rest of property is empty. I had to then upgrade to more expensive property without the option of a discount. In new accommodation we stayed the first night without a key and possibility to lock the door. Great place with poor communication.

The views from the property were fantastic. The cottage was exceptionally clean, and James was very welcoming.

Hi. Breakfast was not included but we had a great time there. James is a wonderful host, the premises was lovely, and the location is good because it is close to everything. We felt very comfortable and will definitely go back.

Budget special, Comfortable bed, Location to Drakensburg boys choir, Monks Cowl walks and Champagne Valley attractions. Hosts attentive, accommodated late arrival.

Excellent location as we go to the Choir every Christmas and it was just down the road. Friendly dogs that greated us on arrival and Estelle and James were wonderful hosts. This is the second time we have been there and will be going again next year
