“Location and facility is good, privacy and cave experience was unique,needs more maintenance.”

Disappointed, carried swimgear but pool was unswimmable,it was green and unmaintained. Kitchen sink had standing dirty water from day of arrival until departure. It never drained out so we had to buy disposable plates and cups to use. We were also not informed about invading monkeys and baboons in the area, they got into the kitchen and stole our food! However will go back as it was a humbling and relaxing experience. Just needs maintenance.

The location is amazing and there are actually so many interesting places to explore close by. There were lovely additions that we didn’t expect, like the pool table and darts board, that we all enjoyed. The house is so unique and full of history! The house is also spacious and comfortable. It’s a lovely place to stay and we would love to come back!!!

Great location in a safe estate with privacy between the properties. Lots of natural bush with some wildlife eg buck, squirrels. Great position in the valley, easy access to main road. Amazing rock pool.

The location is amazing, beautiful natural, gardens full of incredible bird life and visits from monkeys. At the foot of the majestic drakensberg. The swimming pool - a huge man-made rock pool is a feature and a great pleasure to swim in. Lots of outside areas, tables and chairs to sit at. And Weber to bbq on. Lots to do in close proximity. Wonderful hosts - Theresa and Wayne.

“Living like the flinstones :)”

One of the most unusual places I've stayed at. In close proximity to lots of activities in the bergs. Loved how it felt like we were staying in a flintstones house! Own private pool, outdoor seating area, self-catering facilities, access to the main living areas as well.

The views, the hikes, the privacy the tranquility of this place left us speechless. John was amazing and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. It felt like the home away from home we so desperately needed, and it did not disappoint. I had tears leaving the property because I just did not want to leave our little hidden rock in the mountains. We will definitely return for a lot more visits.

Absolutely amazing place with beautiful views gardens and pool. Very accomadating and John and Theresa were great.
