Overview
Located on the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains, Drakensberg Inkosana Lodge offers accommodation in the Champagne Valley. With panoramic views of the rolling hills and mountains, this lodge is surrounded by 50 acres of grassland. Inkosana offers a variety of accommodation, including family rooms and dormitories. Some rooms have a private bathroom while others have access to shared ablution facilities. The rooms are heated in winter and serviced daily. Linen and towels are provided for your comfort. Homely breakfasts and dinners are available at a surcharge and served on the veranda with views of the mountains. The property has a restaurant and bar, and offers free WiFi. The lodge boasts a freshwater swimming reservoir and the area is popular for hiking and nature walks. With prior arrangement, the property offers day and overnight hiking excursions hosted by a guide. “It was a pleasant stay but would probably try the tents next time.”
It was mostly quiet . It has some lovely views. Pleasant staff. The dogs were very friendly. The Africamps tent set up looks really good.

the natural pool is amazing and the views are spectacular. There's a nice 1km hike/walk available for guests on the property on those days you don't want to leave. There is a main or central place where food is served that's cosy for a family and the food was pretty good.
