Overview
Set in the Drakensberg Mountains, Ardmore Guest Farm is located in the Champagne valley, 25 km south of Winterton. This cosy farm style accommodation offers an outdoor pool and a tea garden. All units are en suite with tea-and-coffee making facilities, refrigerator and a log fireplace. The larger units have four-poster beds with a spacious lounge and covered verandahs. The bathroom are fitted with a spa bath. Ardmore Guest Farm has a small gym, a children's area with jungle gym and trampoline, a gift shop and a large dam for bass fishing, hills for walking and bird watching. There is a Community Bead shop, a Museum showcasing the start of Ardmore Ceramic Art and an Art Gallery with the Steve Bull collection. Free WiFi is available in the main guest house. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including river rafting, quad biking, horse riding and golfing.

“A memorable stay for our family of 5.”
Ardmore Guest Farm was a exactly what our family of 5 needed for a long weekend in the berg. It was close to other locations like Champagnes Sports Resort, restaurants and coffee shops. The accommodation was spacious and warm, with loads of extra blankets and heaters for the autumn chill. Our 3 kids loved the property, with all the animals to see and feed, and the complimentary daily pony rides made the stay exceptionally memorable for them. There is even a library where you can borrow books during your stay, and plenty of other entertainment including a jungle gym and trampoline, table tennis and pool, a paddle court, a room packed with kids toys, books and games, and beautiful walking opportunities. The breakfast was generous and tasty. We will most definitely be back!

“Cozy Farm Style Stay in the Drakensberg”
Friendly staff, cozy and clean rooms, lovely fireplace. We loved seeing all the animals on the farm. Good security and safe premises. Great location. Amazing hiking paths.

Exceptionally comfortable bed (Best ever) Lots to do. Spa bath. Pod coffee in our unit. Very friendly approachable staff - including owner. Excellent food with changing menu - breakfast and dinner.

The staff was great everyone was very helpful and friendly particularly Mandoza was a great help and very engaged with guests. They had a lot of information about the surrounding activities. The breakfast was good.

An ideal stay for travelers! The location is perfect, making it very easy to travel to the neighboring valleys. The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Thank You Rust and Mendoza. We also truly enjoyed the breakfast—it was delicious and very rich. One of the highlights was the magical connection with the farm animals. In the mornings, we were pleasantly woken up by birdsong, and we even spotted a Southern Ground Hornbill! We would love to come back again.

The service was excellent. The staff are very friendly and they go beyond the standard 3 star service. They assisted me in every need or query I had. They even supplied a place for me to have a braai and spared no trouble to assist me.
