Our host was friendly and welcoming. We slept exceptionally well, the bed and room were supremely comfortable. The swimming pool was a truly welcome bonus after a day driving in the heat. .

Great location close to the Velodyssee. Beautiful grounds, very welcoming host & comfortable accommodation. Our bikes were secure within the grounds although not undercover

Great for a stopover in a beautiful area. Good size accommodation for a family. Our host Luc was super friendly and helpful. The garden and pool area are lovely but not open for a chilly October understandably. Comfortable bed.

We enjoyed the beautiful garden as well as the breakfast served in the house. Luc was wonderfully patient with our lock issues.

“Super B&B in lovely quieter part of France”

We visited the Clos des Marais for 4 nights with our 2 teenage children. Clos des Marais is a beautiful house and garden in a very pretty village of Champagné-les-Marais. The rooms are in converted buildings in the grounds. A double room and a very large 2 bedroom fully equipped apartment. There is a supplement payable for the second room in the apartment but still represents good value as really spacious. Luke is a fabulous host and very helpful in providing information and ideas for activities in the local region. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Local breads and croissants were delicious. The pool and sun area is wonderful and a very peaceful. Champagne Les Marais has is great steakhouse restaurant La Grille which was very good value, another restaurant that does lunch only which we didn't visit, a takeaway/ delivery pizzeria and a super Spar and bakery nearby also. It is a great location for visiting the coast, la Rochelle and the Marais Poitevin. Thank you Luke for a lovely vacation. We hope to return in the future.

Absolutely lovely host and house. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.
