Good location off the main road in Old part of town. Very welcoming, good conversation in the bar. Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Breakfast was good, simple and not to fussy. Enjoyed my stay.

“We enjoyed our stay there and would use it again.”
As a non-coffee drinker being offered English tea at breakfast was great. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. For English people having an English owner is a great bonus. We had one fluent French speaker but for those less confident with the language that is a plus. There were very pleasant evening meals with 2 vegetarian options (!) which can be a big problem in rural France.

“Out of this world”
The breakfast and coffee was brilliant,the evening meal was out of this world,the owner was very polite and extremely helpful,I will deffo be staying there again,fantastic nights sleep,nice walk in shower,and my room was fantastic,excellent coffee and tea making facilities in my room,10 star stay for me,deffo recommend this hotel and food to anyone who's thinking about staying in Chalus,out of this world 10 stars 🌟
