“Excellent place to break a long car journey, much nicer than staying in a budget hotel.”
We stopped off here to break a long journey south. Off street parking was appreciated, and the owner was lovely and gave advice on where we could eat locally. We booked both rooms, one was in a self contained building, the other was in an extension of the main house. The self contained room was great - spacious and comfortable, the other room was good, but decor was a little dated and the shower room was small and had to be reached by going through a large utility room. It was for our sole use, however, so we were not concerned about privacy. Breakfast was delivered to our room, and was very good.

The breakfast was lovely …brought to our room by the owner of the property …the location was great for us ..easy to get back onto the motorway in the morning ..and within a short drive to shops etc …

friendly welcome from the host who provided a good breakfast.Everything was very clean . The bed was so comfortable and it’s a quiet location so it’s peaceful.It’s also easy to find and the host communicated with us before our arrival.
