Friendly host, who carried our bags up to our room and down again! Nice room and bathroom, with modern shower. Extra blanket against the cold. We got a nice croissant and coffee for breakfast in the town square, just 10 mins away.

The room is on its own on the 3rd floor of a home, with the bathroom next door. It was impeccably clean as was the shower room. It’s a great location- it’s quiet, yet right in the centre of town. You can walk into the centre in 10 mins through the park. There is good parking alongside the property off the road. Dorian is a great host. He spoke perfect English (helpful as my French isn’t good enough!), recommended us a restaurant, gave directions etc. My son and I were staying on our way down to the alps. It was exactly what we needed after a long drive and wanting to see a bit of town rather than just passing through.

This is a very comfortable and quiet homestay with excellent hosts, and is excellent value for money. The room was light and comfortable, the bed excellent, and the adjoining bathroom spotless and everything you need. On-street parking outside the property was easy. The location is also superb - right next to the city parks and canals, and a short walk to the central squares with shops, bakery and restaurants.
