“Lovely bed and breakfast right by the river”

Lovely room in a recently renovated historic home. Everything was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast in the garden was a treat. Anne made us feel very welcome.

Room was spacious and well furnished, lovely to have kettle and coffee in room. Great location. Anne was super friendly and patient with my pigeon french, but also spoke good English herself. Bike storage under cover with bike cleaning facilities.

This property is immaculate down to the last detail. The host was attentive, friendly and good fun. The breakfast was excellent and can be highly recommended, there is a raised garden location overlooking the river to take breakfast (when weather permits).The location is wonderful and peaceful, overlooking the Loire and within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. Parking is easy nearby.

Les Balcons sur la Loire is perfectly located at the quieter end of town, with lovely views of the river and a nice secluded garden. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and were instantly made to feel at home by our host. The bedroom in our room was very comfortable and nice and big.

Very convenient for our journey. Anne communicated throughout. Facilities were excellent. We were cycling and arrangements for washing storing bicycles etc were fantastic. A great experience

The accommodation was well-equipped, spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent, right on the bank of the river. Anne was an exemplary host, and her husband Stéphane was very friendly and helpful. Anne went way beyond what we had a right to expect in a host, by driving me all over town to find a cycle part for my friend (who had a mechanical failure earlier in the day during our ride before we reached Chalonnes-sur-Loire). Ann managed to locate a cycle shop after 1830 that very fortunately had not closed, andwe were able to fix the cycle and carry on cycling the next morning as planned. This was all thanks to Ann, and my friend and I were very grateful for her kindness and hospitality at her lovely property. Merci beaucoup, Ann et Stéphane!!
