“Everything was great . It was too cold to swim in the pool - but relaxing in the garden was nice”
Charming comfortable property in a lovely setting. Hosts were so welcoming . We had a three night break there to attend a family wedding- and we were looked after . Breakfast was delicious.

“Just perfect”
Breakfast was just perfect and Karin puts a lot of love in wanting to supply a great feast The rooms are lovely and clean and you definitely get peace and tranquility Great location with lovely walks and town 10 minutes in the car and a lovely restaurant in the hotel Brilliant stay

“Perfect relaxation in a little corner of paradise.”
Everything was perfect. The property is wonderful and calm. The hosts are extremely nice. The breakfast was excellent with fresh and varied products. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The garden is large and well kept, with a nice swimming pool, and provides comfortable seating arrangements in the shadow to enjoy a book outside.

“Beautiful place to stay!”
We were only here one night, but enjoyed our stay. Beautiful pool, outdoor breakfast area. Our hosts were very friendly and the homemade food and jams etc we had for breakfast were delicious!!

“Perfect”
The room was comfortable and well equipped with a plush bed in a spacious room with hanging space and drawers. A kettle for coffee, water and snacks. There was an abundance of outdoor seating, a fabulous pool with chairs all over and shade for those who don’t like to sit in the sun. Also a fully stocked small fridge so you can have some beverages by the pool side. The property was stunning and the hosts gave us the most spectacular hospitality, with breakfast every morning. You can purchase dinner which was delicious and also local wine. we would definitely recommend to anyone who might like go visit this region.

“Lovely place to stay”
I loved my stay at Le Chemin! The hosts were very hospitable and served an excellent breakfast every morning. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool area has been finished nicely and it was an added bonus having somewhere safe to park the car.

“Wow”
Karin & Rony were wonderful hosts and their home, absolutely beautiful. Our room was very tastefully decorated, light and airy, with a fabulous en-suite bathroom and most importantly, a very comfortable bed! We enjoyed the table d'hote on one evening during our stay - Karin prepared a delicious three course meal and created a beautiful ambiance in the outside dining area. The surrounding area is fabulously rural but easily accessible; we particularly enjoyed watching the wheat harvest and the fields on bright yellow sunflowers. If we were ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Le Chemin.

Truly superb property in an ideal location. Every area is beautifully presented and the owners attention to detail gives the establishment a real sense of luxury. The hosts were marvelous and did everything to ensure an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. “Wonderful, relaxing place to stay, make it you next place to stay in Cognac.”
I highly commend this Country House Hotel, if you are looking for a fabulous place to stay in this part of France, look no further. Rony and Karin were warm and generous hosts, nothing was to much for them and they treated us like family. The location was superb, isolated and idyllically quiet in the heart of Cognac country. There is a small town close by with a good selection of Restaurants, Cafes and Supermarkets.
