“Private, comfortable apartment in an excellent location”
We enjoyed our stay at Ecoterra! This is an apartment in a large private complex of single-story units. No frills but fully modern (for El Salvador) and well worth it if you want a private place with a kitchen (given the alternative is mostly hostels). The bed and seating was comfortable and the host was friendly and communicative. The complex still has construction going on and it seems many of the units are still unsold, but I assume it will soon be quite bustling. The location is perfect—you don't have to deal with traffic in and out of Santa Ana to visit touristic sites (terrible traffic). We had a rental car but it's easy to call an uber or have a guide pick you up at the unit.
