Overview
Situated in a 160-hectare park with a 15th-Century manor, Domaine du Ris de Feu is set alongside 4 private walking paths in the forest, in which there is a pond with boat and pontoon, a duck pond, river, stream, vegetable patch and springs. You will have access to a music room with a grand piano. The duplex suite is independent to the owner's quarters and is set over 2 levels, the lower level features a living area with fireplace, a screen and DVD player, while the upper level has a sleeping space and private bathroom. The other guest room is complete with a private bathroom with a bath and shower. A shared kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle and kitchenware is available to guests staying in this B&B for a fee. You can also order a take-away dish from the restaurant nearby or request a home cooked evening meal with wine, upon request and at an extra charge. Guests can walk to the local restaurant, just 900 metres away. One or several sessions in the spa and sauna can be reserved, subject to an extra cost. Additional features include outdoor furniture, free WiFi access and free private parking on site. A restaurant can be found 900 metres away. Beautifully restored. Quiet. Room was extremely comfortable. Despite being off season, the hosts found plenty of things for me to do, and it was wonderful getting to know them.

“A perfect place to recharge your batteries”
Beautifully renovated buildings set in a forest. Our room was quiet and clean with a fantastically comfortable wide bed. The shutters on the inside of the windows meant the room was dark. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided an enormous amount of information about things to do and see in the surrounding area. The pool was much appreciated at the end of a hot day. Breakfast was varied, home made and delicious. Many thanks and we'll be back

“Beautiful castle in the woods”
The setting, rooms, building, and atmosphere were idyllic. Traditional medieval castle at it's best. Food and host could not have been better. The surrounding forests and lakes were beautiful. This property has been meticulously renovated back to it's original form. Excellent.
