It is an old, outdated but spacious apartment. We were there on a relatively warm day and the apartment does not have an air-conditioning system.

Best place to stay in Chaitén, hands down. We tried a few other places which turned out to be dirty holes, but still required 40000clp per night. This place is on top of the biggest supermarket in town, centrally located, wonderful cafe across the street. The staff is best of all. They found us someone to do the laundry, for instance. Bicycles can be parked under a roof in a closed courtyard.
