“Me my Son and Granddaughter touring Peru”
The Shale is very basic but ok for the cost, working out at around £10 per person per night and that was for a single room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It's quiet at night as most of the rooms facing the hallway and have no windows to the street. friendly staff, room was cleaned every day, good location. Very good value for money

“I got what I expected and that is rare.”
I liked it was quiet and comfortable during our whole stay. There was warm water. We felt safe both inside the building and on the streets nearby. The main square was 5 blocks from the stay and it worked well for us. Also it was very close to the place where you take buses to other main cities like Moyobamba, Luya, Pedro Ruiz, etc. Glad to stay there.
