“Spacious, comfortable, nice atmosphere”

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely vibes with plants everywhere. Really comfortable and spacious room. Nice communal areas. Nice breakfast - the fruit salad elevates it.

Everyone is so friendly and cares about you, the minute you walk in. The beds are one of the most comfortable I have ever had in Peru. The showers were also excellent. The water is warm immediately and the shower pressure is just right. There is good Internet throughout the whole building. The value for money is really outstanding and if I ever come back to Chachapoyas, there is no question where I'll stay. Thank you!

I really loved my stay at Chachapoyas. My room was exceptional with super comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and then the most incredible views from the balcony.

It is very central you can go to placa de armas in 5 mins on foot, it is clean, breakfast is great, they have laundry service and personal is available to help you with organization of activities. Also the hotel is very beautiful, from the roof you can have a great view of the city. Strongly recommended.

Donna and Jose were fantastic hosts. Giving extra help when needed. Went above and beyond. Great value for money. Kitchen facilities were a great bonus.

Cute hostel with lots of plants and a big rooftop with a kitchen for guests including oil, salt and pepper. Very clean, big bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet at night. Lovely staff, they also help with tours or other information about the region, buses etc. Thank you so much!

the front desk was super friendly and helped with organizing tours and rides anywhere. i felt so welcomed and when i had to extend my reservation they were incredibly helpful. i absolutely will come back!

If possible, we would have given a value for money score of 11. And the hostess and the rest of the staff couldn't possibly make you feel more welcome. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Last and not least for me: The morning coffee was good and strong. If we return to Chachapoyas we know where we'll stay😊 PS. The beds with nice warm covers were the most comfortable we've come across in Peru and Bolivia.

Everything! The room was spacious and with plenty of place to put our stuff. Luminous. The bed was big and comfortable. Everything was super clean, including the common areas and shared kitchen. Lovely bedsheets and towels. The shower was amazing! Breakfast was filling. The owner is lovely, as are the rest of the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend.

It was extremely clean and tidy. The breakfast was great. Comfy bed and pillows and beautiful decor. Overall, the vibe was great. There is also a kitchen for guest to be used.

Everything. Janet & Michael couldn’t be more helpful and organized so many things for me before I arrived and during my stay. The rooms are beautiful decorated in a traditional style and everything is spotlessly clean. The location is also excellent, close to the main square but in a quiet street. This has been the best place I have stayed in South America on 3 seperate trips.

When i arrived early in the morning, i could go straight into the room and rest, It was very clean and it felt like a hotel, amazing hot shower, the staff is excellent, kind and helpful, nice terrace, good mattresses, i loved the place! The best hostel on my peru trip!

What I liked best was the friendly and welcoming environment created by the owner Dona. She was very friendly and along with staff member Rosita, made me feel like I was at home. I noticed that they took good care of all guests. The property is in a quiet locale within walking distance of the Plaza de Armas and many eating joints, including a fully vegetarian restaurant. the decor is tasteful with indoor plants. The room was quite sufficient in size for solo travelers or even a couple. Cleanliness was a highlight. On the first morning, they served a standard breakfast but on request for some local fare, they made humita on second and third days of my stay, which was a really nice gesture! I recommend this Backpackers Hostal Boutique to everyone who wants to visit Chachapoyas.
