We made breakfast ourselves, which for us was not a problem. Everything we needed was either in the cottage or down in the kitchen. It's hidden away in the middle of a forest, a peaceful haven.

“Excellent location for romantic break”
The host was super, not invasive at all, but available if we had a question or needed advice on where to eat or shop, etc. The cottage was perfect for a couple. Full oven and hob to cook on. Most of the cooking utensils were there, along with a large fridge with a freezer compartment. The woodburner was also a nice touch as it was wet and stormy the weekend that we stayed and the host had lit it for our arrival so it was lovely and warm inside. The bathroom was a good size, and the hot water for the shower was plentiful. The host provided towels. The bedroom was calm and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Outside, the private terasse was a nice touch with table and parasol. The swimming pool was heated, and inside under cover was really romantic. Fabulous! Breakfast was out of this world! Cereals, pastries, cheeses, hams and charcuterie, yoghurt, eggs, homemade jams. Fresh bread and fruit salad of the season, vegetables, and nuts. We couldn't have asked for more, and it was more than we expected. A lovely surprise! We'd recommend this stay to a couple. It was a real romantic break. 5* Without a doubt.

Breakfast was good and varied , plenty of it and fresh each morning. Location was excellent with a particularly quirky pool.

“Awesome!!”
We absolutely loved the tranquility and being in nature, especially the river passing through the grounds and the ducks visiting. It’s a genuine French gîte, the way we like it: authenticity still intact.
