Owner was unfriendly

The location and surroundings are amazing, right in front of the ocean. The bungalow is spacious, and there is also a swimming pool with sunbeds for relaxing. The water looked clean, although we didn’t see anyone swimming. Generally, the place has great potential, but it has probably seen better days, as the property’s condition shows, and for that reason it falls short in terms of the overall experience.. Still, it is a good place to stay, especially if you're on a longer trek.

Very calm and beautiful location. After a whole day of hiking it is the perfect accommodation due to its location.

The property was located in a fantastic valley overlooking the ocean in one side and lush mountains on the other side, bear in mind the wind is sweeping day and night. The rooms were pretty and clean, The owner was very helpful and supported us with all our needs for taxi booking and food requests

The highest rating for service. Because the resort is far from restaurants available in the evening, but you can get both lunch and dinner with drinks here. The pool is of sufficient size. I also liked the sound of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. At first we were afraid that there was no air conditioning, but since the house is round, it cools down very refreshingly through the window vents. It is very convenient to stay for one night, continuing the hike along the beautiful route through Fontainhas to Point do Sol

“Romantic sleep”

The cottage was nice designed, colourfull purple, orange, large space. Hot and cold shower. Owner spoke several languages incl Dutch. Good bed.

“Beautiful. Positively extravagant.”

The location is amazing, almost subreal, which makes the venue somehow positively extravagant. The staff is friendly and the owner Ben shared interesting details on how it is to run a place in such a special and isolated location. The hotel faces the ocean wide open and I just loved it.

The room was big and comfortable, good breakfast, nice views and nice staff, but we had no wifi inside of the room and the swiming pool was a bit dirty

“A bit expensive for the experience”

The place! Liked the little round rooms and had a great spaghetti meal upon arrival, which was delicious (definitely starving after our hike!). They prepared breakfast for us at 6am so that we could start our hike early.
