The stay was wonderful. The place looks amazing and the staff are literally going out of their way to give you the best experience. The pool was amazing after a day of travel, the tour of the vineyard was interesting and the staff’s recommendation on a dinner restaurant was good too. Good value for money. I would definitely stay there again if in Montenegro

The room and around fit to the explanation and pictures. Breakfast was basic and tasty. We came in October when season is over. The owner cook a dinner for us. It was quite expensive (30 euro par person taking a fish, 15 - with no fish), but tasty. Wine was exceptional. It was better then drive in the dark to the restaurant and back (the road is not easy even during the daylight). Adrian made the welcome. Very nice guy with good English. The owner, Vasko (sorry if a spell the name wrongly) is very nice guy. Able to speak Russian. Show us the winery. The wine is exceptional. Very quite place. The views are stunning.

room cleaning was not perfect. there were a lot of dirt on the floor. but bed or toilet cleaning was spotless.

The property was absolutely stunning, not to mention the gorgeous views. The room was pristine and the whole place felt very homely and welcoming. Adrian, our tour guide was so friendly and down to earth and very knowledgeable about the different wine making techniques. Vesko was a very warming and welcoming host who made sure we were taken care of at all times. The wine tour was amazing and the wine tasting was even better, we had an amazing time and would recommend Markovic Winery to anyone and everyone!!

A charming and very well-maintained estate. The couple who run it are lovely and welcoming – they don’t speak English, but there’s a WhatsApp contact who speaks excellent English. They informed us in advance about unusual traffic on our arrival day and went above and beyond to accommodate a late check-in when we had car trouble and were significantly delayed. They even arranged a late dinner for us. The room was clean, spacious, and high-quality, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower, and the balcony was perfect. Breakfast and dinner were simple but fresh and excellent.

Absolutely stunning! We had a lovely stay. The owners of the property are friendly and even prepared a vegan meal for us. We got to see the cellar and had a walk around the property. Everything was perfect!

Nice place, quiet in the country side, clean and comfortable room, nice staff. Very good wine, but if you eat there ask for details : we were the only ones and had no choice for the meal. If you don’t like veal tongue you’re stuffed…

This was a unique travel experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending to others. The situation was stunning and the tour and wine-tasting first class. As was the wine itself! Parts of the winery, notably the wine storage areas, dinning rooms and tasting room were built and decorated to the highest standard. Good showers which dont leak water all over the floor!

A unique experience, absolutely the best wines we have tried during many visits to Montenegro, and a stunning location. Very spacious room with large comfortable bed and excellent shower. The highlight was the wine tour and tasting. So much care and consideration has gone into creating the winery, it’s a trip not to be missed.

Incredible views!! Very comfortable, but lovely rustic look. We did a fab wine tasting and had a lovely tour of the vineyard. We were offered a delicious traditional dinner in the evening, which was perfect.

Just an incredible stay. We weren't really sure what to expect, I don't think the pictures on here do justice to the beauty of this place. Arriving after a hot day travelling and hiking, we were greeted my Adrian who showed us to our room. Really pretty with nice old furniture and a stunning view over the vineyards. A lot of the reviews on here say there is no restaurant, which is sort of true but you can book in for dinner (which is excellent). Otherwise the hotel was happy to let us layout our own bread/cheese etc in the dining room. You are free to walk round the vineyards whenever, and definitely take up the wine tour - do all 6 wines. The location is a great base for Lovcen and Shkodra lake - just be warned the roads in the area are a bit precarious. Thanks so much to Adrian and the Markovics.

“Defenitely worth a visit”

Very nice apartments in the local style of the 15th century. Friendly staff that gave us a tour through the wine cellar and the owners prepared a authentic dinner for us, although we were the only guests at that time.. This apartments are not next to a sightseeing spot but we can warmly recommend a stay here. You will not regret it.

The location in the midst of a vineyard is exceptional. Access is a bit challenging because of the narrow roads, but we got used to it. The buildings are very beautiful, the wine is excellent. The visit of the cellar was great.

You just can't beat the beauty of this place in the midst of a Vinyard surrounded by high mountains. The rooms were clean and cozy and the staff did it's best to be helpful. The wine they make is real good..
