“Peaceful stay and an excellent host”

The exterior of a castle is freshly renovated. A great location near Cesvaine Castle, surrounded by nature and bird sounds. A very kind and helpful host. Considering we were the only guests and there is no restaurant on site, the breakfast was excellent. Rather spacious rooms and option to use the terrace, library as well as small kitchen on-site. Tourism information and details regarding the Graši village-based care foundation for children was available.

Well kept, cozy place to stay! It was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept, the pillows were super good quality!

This place was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was authentic, clean, and incredibly cozy — it truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed every minute here and can honestly say that we will definitely come back again. Very nice, cosy place. Everything was very clean, and we were warmly welcomed by a sweet and friendly lady. Although we didn’t plan to have breakfast, we ordered coffee to the room, and it was served in such a lovely and thoughtful way (as shown in the picture). The area is very calm and picturesque, 5 min drive from Cesvaine castle.

Exceptional welcome, clean, beautiful rooms. Breakfast was lovely. No option for dinner, but Cesvaine is only a few minutes drive away with some good options for food. Area around the building is stunning, lovely flower beds and beautiful wildflower meadows nearby.

This was a great stay. We were greeted warmly by the host. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We also ordered breakfast, which was served at the agreed time.

We loved the history and location. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The gardens are beautiful and the food was delicious. Enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine or coffee. Would highly recommend.

It was a nice clean, quiet and cosy place. The room was big with high ceiling and a lot of air and light.

We come to Grasu pils every time when we need to stay in the region; it's really a great place. Very pleasant environment both outside and inside, the room has everything you need, the breakfast is excellent.

We ware a group of 8 persons and they served the breakfast in the separate room so it was a nice morning gathering for the whole company of ours. All good with the food and as a special treat was a Karums (latvian Curd Snack).
