Stayed at Cessnock Motel and had a good experience. The location is very convenient in the middle of town, close to shops and everything you need. It’s a budget-friendly motel, especially compared to many expensive places around Hunter Valley and Pokolbin. Good option if you want to save money while still having a comfortable stay. Clean rooms, easy parking, and overall good value for the price.

“Worst motel we’ve stayed in. We left early, couldn’t wait to get out of there.”
Stained sheets, looked like someone had already slept in the bed - sheets were rumpled, stained carpet, old mattress dipping in middle, very noisy, bathroom tap leaked all night. Worst motel we’ve stayed in - never again.

It was quite strange to have a door inside the room connecting to another room. It was impossible to sleep because we could hear people walking, breathing, and even having sex in the next room all night. Definitely an interesting experience.
