Overview
Dating back to 1360, Penzion Baroko is a late-Gothic building located in Cesky Krumlov’s city centre. The city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Cesky Krumlov Castle is just 50 metres away. All rooms at the residence have Baroque-style mahogany furniture, a seating area, tiled stove and modern private bathroom. Several are spacious and Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all. Wood-panelled ceilings are featured in some. Several museums and the Eggenberg Brewery can both be reached on foot in 10 minutes or less. Penzion Baroko’s staff are happy to help arrange a hunting weekend, or tickets to the local castle or theater. The Vltava River is just 200 metres away and provides good opportunities for fishing and canoeing. Horse riding facilities can be visited 3 km away. An ice skating rink, swimming pool and tennis courts are a 10-minute walk away. Cesky Krumlov Spicak Bus Stop is just 500 metres away and Golf Club Cesky Krumlov can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Ceske Budejovice is 25 km away.

“Truly historic B&B in the centre of Cesky Krumlov”
This is an outstanding place in terms of its style. The character of the rooms is historic in an authentic way. The location in the centre of Cesky Krumlov, just outside the castle gates, is also extremely convenient. I was glad to have had detailed instructions about arrival by car. Breakfast was very nice.

What a great location in the center. The pension is full of character. It is one of the oldest buildings in town. The furniture fits the style perfectly. Plenty of space in the room, and a fridge with reasonably priced minibar items. Good breakfast. Great value for money. About a 15 minute walk from one of the bus stops. About a 25 minute walk from the train station.

Great stylised small hotel in the middle of the old town. Very atmospheric in the authentic old house. The interior is nicely fitting. The hotel staff was very helpful. They helped with navigating and the parking. It all went well and smoothly. We were the only guests as it was a bit after the season but the staff treated us very special. Very nice stay. Highly recommended.

“Our few days at Penzion Baroko”
Penzion Baroko could not be better situated in Cesky Krumlov, being very close to the Castle entrance, and a short walk to everything else. The room was very warm despite our opening the windows to let the fresh air in. The breakfast was very good too with Terezie being very attentive.

“Very nice!”
This guesthouse is very conveniently located near the entrance to Cesky Krumlov Castle. Even though we arrived much earlier than the check-in time, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet, with bread, fresh vegetables and fruit, and a variety of flavored teas, and was delicious. As with other positive reviews, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Great location. Terese very helpful as we had a damaged tyre and she found us a repairer on a Saturday. Nice continental breakfast. It was nice to stay in a 600 year old building

“Cozy little pension in the old town of Cesky Krumlov”
The accommodation is located in one of the oldest houses in the city, and is extremely charming. Situated very close to the castle entrance, it is ideal for exploring the old town. The hosts are friendly. The breakfast selection is pretty good (cold cuts, cereals, boiled eggs, fruits, vegetables, jams, etc.). The coffee is also fine. The check-in process was very simple: we chose to check in online, so when we arrived, all we had to do was pick up the key. Paid parking is available in a closed area a few minutes from the accommodation, where the hosts can reserve a spot in advance upon request.

A unique historic property with all the quirkiness of one (such as the bathroom being located outside the bedroom) and the charm (such as a unique chimney/stove being located inside the bedroom - amazing! Very central location made it easier to walk everywhere.
