We received a spacious room (109) with elegant and comfortable furniture. Even the bathroom has a view to the city centre.

“Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful place.”
Location was perfect, right in the middle of Cesky Krumlov. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were delightful with outside areas too. Good breakfasts. There was also a lift for those of us with heavy cases.

“Peaceful stay in Krumlov”

“The experience was terrible. I will never stay there again, even for one night.”
I don't know who gave this hotel 5*, but it doesn't even live up to 3*. This is a somewhat surprising hotel - with huge claims to historicity and exclusivity and a complete lack of service. It's hard for me to imagine a 4 or 5* hotel where the reception is open until 10 pm and then the door closes (yes, you can get inside with your key and end up in complete darkness of the hall). There is no lobby bar, no drinks, no restaurant - nothing. Apparently, this is some kind of new standard for 5*. The rooms have no air conditioning and soundproofing. The rooms are small and cramped. Very small toilets and bathrooms. The plumbing is of the lowest quality and the renovation is very crude. The breakfast is minimal - sufficient - it's hard to imagine anything less. The historicity is achieved by the location in the historical center, and a very complex internal geometry - many narrow corridors, dead ends, stairs, heavy wooden furniture "in the old style". There are open spaces - internal terraces, on which there is rough garden furniture - tables and benches, on the tables there are ashtrays full of cigarette butts. Apart from the person at the reception desk there is no other staff (the person at the desk is present until 10 pm). My conclusion: this is a hotel (or rather a very expensive hosting) not for guests, it is for the owners.

The view from hotel window and esthetic of hotel was lovely. Location was fantastic. Furniture in the room was beautiful. Receptionist assisted us in getting a taxi.

“Romantic room in a beautiful town.”
Wonderful location with very friendly staff. We found our room was cold as the heating setting was set to blow cold, we could not change the settings. Other than that it was a lovely room. HUGE bath. comfy bed. very nice. pretty central to where we wanted to be. we would have liked to stay longer and use the facilities. but this stay was for a single night.
