Overview
The family-run Hostel 99 enjoys a quiet location, a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Český Krumlov, and offers you rooms with views of the Vltava river, an on-site restaurant and free Wi-Fi. You can choose between en-suite rooms and rooms with shared bathrooms. Linen and towels are included in the rates at Hostel 99. There is also a shared kitchen with a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator and kitchenware. You can taste typical Czech dishes in the restaurant and café on site. A secured parking area is available 200 metres from Hostel 99.

“Authentic and cosy feel”
I loved the cosy feel of the place. Everything was super clean and although the hosts did not speak English, they were super helpful and demonstrated anything that I didn't understand. The location is perfect, so close to the bus stop and castle!

“Avoid”
No staff available at check in (4pm) and after ringing, someone came out but had no English, could not explain where any facilities were. No fan or AC in the room. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower for the whole floor. WiFi connection was very bad and is usually not available. No towels were provided for us (most hostels do with a private room). The main lights in the bathroom were gone, and there was no toilet roll for over a day. On check out, staff were really sassy and dismissive when these issues were brought up. Only communication at all from staff was when they realised they didn't ask for city tax on check in.

The hostel itself is a lovely old building, (something I love) and it is also connected to a restaurant too. It's also part of the old town - though on the edge so not too far to walk to see all the town. Not too far from the train station (20 minute walk). Has a pretty decent kitchen and there are lockers in the rooms.

Great location alongside the historic Budweiser Gate. Pleasant terrace. Friendly Staff. Qwirky split level dorm full of exposed beams. Single beds - not bunks. Great bar/restaurant.

Ideal location. Nice experience to live in a historical building. Definitely recommend. Everywhere in the city is paid parking, so if you want to have a car close - book parking from the hotel.

“I loved it ne I would go back again”
the property was right near the old historic town in a beautiful setting. it was old and quirky and I loved that. it’s totally different to anything I’ve stayed in before. the kitchen was a good size and had plenty of cooking stuff, crockery and utensils . bathrooms were clean
