“Exceptional and unique hotel - our second visit to Villa Santa and I can't recommend it enough!”
What a gem of a hotel! The wooden villas that you stay in are stunning both inside and out. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, high ceilings, decent bathrooms and nicely appointed, with outlook of the forest. The restaurant is absolutely fantastic - exceptional food, lovely setting, good ambience and brilliant service. The staff all round couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was also very good and included in the price. The setting in the woodland is very tranquil and makes you feel a world away, yet you're only a short drive from the centre of lovely Cesis and with walks from the doorstep.

Villa located in a quiet area, in a small forest, just 10- minute drive from the city center. The room was much more spacious than usual, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. The buffet breakfast was served in a beatiful restaurant. I really enjoyed the atmosphere - calm and relaxing, perfect for autumn or winter stay.

“A lovely character full location for a peaceful and restful stay.”
Villa Santa is a lovely old building surrounded by wooded grounds. There are 2-3 buildings with rooms in all three (including the main house). There are also separate facilities for weddings, events etc. The room was a generous size and comfortable, with a good bed and lovely shower. Breakfast was an extensive buffet despite the fact that there were only a couple of guests staying the night I was there.

A plea It was a great pleasure to stay here. The staff were all friendly and diligent. We're particularly grateful to the manager, who was helpful when we had a small medical problem. The room was spacious, pleasant, quiet and clean. Breakfasts were good, and the dinner we had was delicious and well-presented. We took several long walks through the forests. The castle in Cesis is well worth a visit, and Cesis is full of nice cafes and restaurants.

Wonderful location, really friendly and helpful staff and wonderful buildings. The food in the restaurant was so good we ate there both nights, rather than go into Cesis. The stand out dessert was the potatoe vanilla mousse, not kidding g it was extraordinary.
