Very cozy houses. Well equipped.

A very charming outdoor area with great playground for kids. The sauna is also a plus. It's a bit remote but if you have a car, the Gauja National Park is easily accessible. Cabins are very basic, but that's part of the experience.

Location, serenity, possibility to have a BBQ outside. It’s in the middle of nature, but has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Very friendly and welcoming host.

Located in the woods, this place is the perfect option to stay peacefuly in the nature. Wooden houses are even better than the pictures, the yard is amazing and the guest provides you almost all kind of stuff to make your stay comfortable and easy. The heating was adequate in all rooms despite the low outside tempreature. Great place to rest and relax. You can also have a bbq

The host was the best! Everything needed was there.

Our accommodation at Oskalns was exceptional. We stayed after a snowfall and it was just like a fairytale.The log cabin was cosy, super clean and well appointed.

Very nice and friendly owner, I can only recommend this Camping for no matter - Families or friends Groups, couples, very clean, beautiful Nature, close to the wonderfull Zoo and City centre. We trully enjoyed our stay there.

The cabin had everything needed for a great stay. The children loved playing outside in the play area, the the walk close by are beautiful.

Fantastic stay, wonderful location near river walks and not far from the beautiful town of Cesis where there is a castle and lovely old town with a selection of artisan shops. . Our host was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, including a drop off and pick up at the train station. He even went to buy charcoal and matches for us to use on bbq! The campsite was a haven of peace and tranquility, with high quality log cabins, very comfortable and well thought out with nice veranda and seating area. We had a wonderful couple of days and would highly recommend.!

The location is near Cesis, but in the country. In the territory there is a wide area with various sports activities and a children's playground. Very quet and cozy.

“Great camping experience!”

Most of all, the owner is extremely nice and friendly. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us back on the last day. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, coffee and such basic ingredients in the kitchen. Hot water was always available. The site is amazing, lots of sports to play, and a barbecue. You need to bring your own charcoal and lighting fluid. The forest and river around it are great. Make sure to bring anti-mosquito stuff!

“Cozy and comfortable cottages near the Cesis”

Three cozy cottages in a huge area under shady trees. A very nice playground for children. The cottages were small, but everything was well thought out, all amenities were available. Very nice host, always there if we needed anything. The beautiful town of Cesis is 3 km away. The wonderful Rakši zoo is also nearby
