Terrible experience! Don’t fall for this scam! We booked this hostel for a ski weekend in Cēsis, but when we arrived, we were shocked to receive an email asking us to cancel the reservation. We followed their instructions, canceled, and immediately requested a refund, since we never even entered the accommodation. However, the owner refused to refund our money, and Booking didn’t process the cancellation because he didn’t approve it. The result? We were left without accommodation and lost our money! We were scammed and completely abandoned with no support or assistance. This was pure bad faith! If the place was even remotely trustworthy, they would have refunded our money without hesitation. Avoid this place at all costs! They only want to take advantage of guests and have zero commitment to proper service. A frustrating and infuriating experience!

The hospitality and location of this hostel are exceptional. It's centrally located, right next to the church. I explored all of Cēsis, a lovely medieval town. The staff even lit a fire at night to keep my room cozy. I would rate it 10/10.

Nothing really. Bathroom was dirty. Kitchen was full off unwash dishes. I felt like I was in somebody appartement. There was a powerfull sound system. We have to ask to lower the volume. There was nothing boutique in this place. Stay away

A very bad bed bug infestation in the dormitory I'm surprised theyre letting people book! I noticed bedbugs crawling around the bed as I was about to go to sleep. When I looked around the room they were on all the beds and crawling up the bed frames as well, some of the beds didn't have mattresses so it seems like they knew already. I had to spend all night in the kitchen checking my clothes and then pay for a launderette in the morning!

Basically there is no staff of if there is it's really unuseful. I had to find clean linens by myself with the help of some other guests. Ok it's cheap, but I expected at least a clean place to sleep.
