“3 x Great: Place, host and hub”

We (a family with two kids) stayed for 3 nights and we are glad that we used this place as our hub, traveling around Tuscany. Elisabetta, the host, was very kind and anticipating and always available if we had a question. She even went to see us in the furnicula to say goodbye personally. We really enjoyed the stay and the quaint town. Thanks for your hospitality.

Very tidy and clean also in a great location

As a budget-conscious couple travelling across Europe using public transport and staying in smaller, quieter locations, this was perfect. It's located on a small piazza, with a view of Certaldo Alto, about 5mins walk from Certaldo train station and public busses. Easy access to Florence and Siena by train and San Gimignano by bus. Elisabetta was a super host, willingly accommodating our early arrival and providing an overview of the area. She takes extreme pride in La BellaVista Toscana which is evident from the time you meet her and see the facilty. After travelling for 5 weeks across Netherlands, Belgium and Italy, La BellaVista Toscana rates in the top 2 of our accommodation facilities. Thank you Elisabetta!!!

“Perfect location and apartment for a stay in beautiful Tuscany.”

The apartment is in a perfect location, close to train, city centre and base of funicular to get to the old town. It was beautifully presented, comfortable beds and plenty of space for our group of 3. Our house Elisabetta was fantastic and gave us great tips on where to eat and drink. Highly recommend!

Elisabetta was the best host anybody could possibly hope for! She went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay! The entire apartment was newly renovated and every inch of it was gorgeously thought out, even from the entry hallway door. Marble floors, spacious living area, 2 separate large bedrooms... beautiful art everywhere as well! The view outside into the courtyard and town was like something out of a movie. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Elisabetta's property again, thank you Elisabetta for everything, you are the perfect host!

Everything. To stay in the square was a real treat, straight across from the cable car up to old town, and close to all cafes and restaurants. The Gelato cafe below is open until midnight, another treat and cannot recommend this enough to the point we were having at least two a day. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, very recently refurbished to a high standard. But most importantly the welcome from Elisabettao who went over and above to make our stay perfect, extremely helpful with recommendations and advice, but most importantly to point of helping us with taxis for a very late return from a wedding we attended. Our stay at Elisabetta’s place was absolutely wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. Simply a perfect choice! The apartment is beautifully decorated, super comfortable (including the beds – and I’m quite picky when it comes to that, rarely feeling as good outside my own bed!), and at the same time very cozy and welcoming. You can really tell everything was prepared with care and attention to detail – the kitchen is fully equipped, and in the bathroom we found cotton pads, toiletries, and even earplugs 😊. All those little touches made us feel truly looked after. Elisabetta herself deserves a special mention. She is absolutely lovely – warm, helpful, and always available. She responded quickly to any issues (for example, we accidentally broke the key during our stay, and arranging a solution at a convenient time was no problem at all). Her recommendations – whether for restaurants or nearby towns to visit – were spot on. Thanks to her, we discovered places we might never have found on our own. The location of the apartment is also perfect – just a 5-minute walk from the train station (great if you're exploring Tuscany by train) and a large parking area where you can leave your car for a small fee. It’s also right next to the funicular to Certaldo Alto, so it’s super easy to go up and enjoy the beautiful old town. Another bonus: the apartment is right in the center, so in the morning you can easily go out for breakfast or pick up fresh croissants from the bakery. We also completely fell in love with Certaldo itself. It’s a gorgeous little town that easily rivals more famous Tuscan spots in beauty (don’t miss Certaldo Alto!), but with a much calmer, more authentic vibe – perfect for observing local life without the tourist crowds. And the food scene is amazing – so many excellent restaurants! Certaldo is also a great base for exploring the whole region – it’s well connected and located almost right in the heart of Tuscany.

The location was excellent within reach of most areas , close to the railway station, cafes and all shops. The host was always available whenever she was needed and gave us good advice on places to eat.

The apartment is located on the main square within easy walking distance of the station, funicular and several good restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and contained everything required for a 3 night stay. The kitchenette is compact but fully equipped including a kettle, coffee machine, fridge and microwave. The sleeping area has a great view across the square to Certaldo Alto but the windows also have 2 sets of shutters to keep out the heat and any noise. The bathroom has a walk in shower and various toiletries were supplied. The host, Elisabetta, was super in every sense: extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Though not needed, she made it clear she was contactable 24/7. Her kindness even extended to re-acquainting us with the chef who produced our wedding dinner 10 years ago! That made our trip even more special. Grazie mille, Elisabetta!!

Perfect location, great size, everything provided that was needed and a fantastic host.

Perfect location near the station in certaldo. Clean and pleasant room looking out onto the piazza. Incredible host, Elisabetta provided a car service to get us to there wedding and back late at night. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return if back in area. Thanks Elissabetta!
