Excellent location if you want to visit the volcano. There is dinner in front of the hotel (till 18pm) or you have to walk approx 2km uphill to another hotel. Breakfast is from 0700-0715 also in front of the hotel. The guides start around 0730 with gathering people to a group of sufficient size. Hotel itself was clean, friendly staff and very confienient you can checkout till 15pm

“Clean rooms in excellent location”
We had a private rooms- the double bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Towels and soap etc were included ( stated in booking they were not). Perfect location. Staff very helpful and looked after luggage after checkout and helped organise a guide.

“Stay here to start the hike early and see the volcano crater without clouds! Good value for money.”
Great location right next to the Santa Ana volcano trailhead, staying here gives you good chance of seeing the volcano crater lake without clouds! Being able to start the hike at 7AM was the only reason why we stayed here and it worked perfectly - we made it to the top before anyone else and had the place for ourselves. The room is very basic and works great for one night stay. We paid for dorm but got a private room as there was no one else in the whole place on a weekday.

“Excellent location”
It's the perfect place to stay overnight if you want to do the Santa Ana volcano hike, so you don't need to take the 7:30 bus in the morning. The guides gather literally in front of this accommodation. The bus passes in front of the accommodation en that's also where you find a bunch of food stalls. Location couldn't be better. The bed was very comfortable too. They allow you to check out in the afternoon after the hike, which allows you to take a shower and chill until the bus arrives.

“Basic hostel facilities in a great location”
This hostel is in a perfect location for hiking to Santa Ana. The rooms are very basic. A little sprucing up would help elevate guest experience.

Guide for Volcán Santa Ana congregate at El Tibet from around 8am and head out in groups toward the ticket office then the hike itself. There are food stalls across the road great for breakfast however all stalls closed around 4pm.
