“Stunning location and lovely apartment”

Beautiful location up above Como, views from the garden were truly stunning and the accommodation very welcoming. The brioche that Carolina brought the following morning were delicious, as a result it was a great start to our holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. They were especially thoughtful with our kids — very friendly, and even had little touches that made the space more comfortable for families. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with children or simply looking for a cozy, caring place to stay!

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She came out to meet us and showed us around the property and gardens and made us feel welcome. We found a generous hamper in our appartment, complements of our host! The appartment had everything we needed and and we enjoyed our stay there.

We have enjoyed our stay with Il Riccio! Carolina and her mother are fantastic hosts! They really went for the extra mile. The scenery is outstanding.

It's not the flat itself or the warm welcome you'll receive from the hostess that stands out, but the attached terrassed garden. It overlooks lake Komo from high above providing a dreamy location to sit down with a cup of coffee or lemonade and contemplate life's priorities. And to get there you'll have to drive up on narrow, winding Italian streets which might be a new experience in itself.

Fantastic stay at the Como mountain side with the friendliest of hosts. Fabulous views and with your garden eggs, jam and honey for breakfast. Cats, dogs, chickens and rabbits await you and spacious accomodation comes with the custest rustique of interior.

We had such a lovely stay here. The hospitality received from Carolina and her family was above and beyond everything we could have ever expected. Carolina was always happy to help with suggestions and ideas for our stay. We had an amazing meal in the gardens that was also more than we could ever have hoped for. The apartment is clean, cozy and has everything in it (and more) than you need for your stay. The gardens that are accessed across the road are beautiful and the view is amazing. If not for anything else you should book this place just so you can meet some of the nicest, helpful and generous people on the planet.

Everything! Great views, well equipped flat and amazing owners that made us feel like we were visiting family. I would give 11 out of 10 if l could.

Great welcome, good host en fantastic location

It was fantastic, everything is clean, the staff is so kind and friendly, great place to stay with beautiful garden with a gorgeous view.

We spent two days in the apartment with a very nice and friendly family in this pleasant place, in fabulously furnished rooms. The garden is beautiful too, and it has a breathtaking view of the lake. We are happy to recommend it to everyone! We hope that we can come back soon.

the host made us very comfortable, went out of the way to cater to our needs! such a lovely person. great place to stay if you are traveling with a baby and small kids, Caro set up a perfect bassinet and a crib for our baby and toddler which made it very easy for us !
