Overview
Surrounded by a garden, Albergo Ponte Vecchio is set in Cernobbio, 5 minutes' walk from the shores of Lake Como. It offers paid parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. It also has a restaurant and a bar. Rooms are air conditioned and come with carpeted floors. They all include a TV and a telephone. Their en suite bathrooms come with bidet, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All units have garden views and some of them have a balcony. Fresh croissants, seasonal fruit and lots of delicious local produce are served each morning in the breakfast room. The restaurant serves regional and Italian dishes at lunch and dinner. The snack bar is always available for a quick bite or drink. The Ponte Vecchio is a short boat ride from Como and other towns around the lake. It is just 5 km from Chiasso and the Swiss border. Malpensa International Airport and the centre of Milano are both 45 minutes' drive away.

The room was good value; comfortable bed, tea making facilities and en suite. There is a bar and good restaurant (nice breakfast) with very friendly and helpful staff. It’s a 15 min walk from the lake and not in a touristy area which I liked. It served me very well for an overnight stay. Parking nearby was easy.

During my vacation I stayed in three places. In my opinion, the bed here is the most comfortable. Great location, bus stop right in front of the hotel, supermarket across the street.

“Great relation cost-effectiveness.”
The place is well located, including a Lidl in the front door if you need supermarket; Easy to reach from the highway; Walking distance to the boat station. The bed is nice. Breakfast is enough to start the day. The food in the cantina is good and the price is fair.

Lication is good. A bit difficult with parking but near have pay zone parking and its good. Lidl is just across the street . Centre and the lake is 10min walk.

“Very nice place”
Room small but clean and tidy, well arrange for a short stay. Interesting decorations in the halls :) Good location for arriving by bus, walking distance from the city center and Villa Erba. Host was very kind and welcoming. There is also a restaurant in the building, sadly I didn't have time to try their food.
