This place is just as true and beautiful as how its owners Katerina, Marko and his parents love it. Beautiful caring, lovely, wholehearted and easygoing hosts running a traditional farm while having the will and energy to create the warmest, friendly, welcoming environment with all the beauty you need on top of a mountain in georgeous alpine environment. We've received attention and care, fantastic breakfasts and the tastiest local dishes for dinner with all local and home-made ingredients that can only taste the best ever. We are very grateful for our fantastic days on the farm and would definitely want to return whenever we can!

We loved everything with our stay! The farm was the highlight of our roadtrip. We stayed for 3 nights and we were sad to leave. Katarina and the family was extremely friendly, the food amazing and the surroundings stunning. We had our dog with us and she was getting along well with the two farm dogs :-) If we could give more than 10 stars, we would do that.

Amazing home stay 🫶🏻 Quiet, clean, comfortable. Owner’s family is super nice and helpful. a wonderful breakfast made from local produce- ham, eggs, cheese, jam, bread, honey, yogurt. You need to have car to get here. And to love dogs ❤️( two friendly furry friends live here)

We had a wonderful stay in this family run hotel! A big thank you to all family members (dogs Bella and Bobby including) for a warm welcome, generosity and availability! This hotel prises itself as a place serving delicious breakfasts and dinners with mostly homemade products (eggs, cheese, various types of ham, schnaps). Surrounding are very beautiful with a possibility to explore them by horse. Children are the most welcome and can enjoy the playground.

Great place. You can stay here and get rest from turistic crouded places. The hosts are really friendly. The view is amazing. I don't know what could be better. ;))) I hope I'll get back here one day.

The farm is in a breathtakingly picturesque location, situated above the valley with mountain views all around. The hosts are lovely and offer some good tips on local destinations. They can arrange a small farm tour to check out the animals and have an insight on their processes. A very good experience all around, to be disconnected from the troubles of the world.

Amazing farmstay hosted by a friendly and attentive family. Breakfast was nearly 100% products from on or near the farm. Location is gorgeous, the room was comfortable, and dinner was also wonderful. We got to ride the horses, which was a real highlight of our stay.

We loved our stay! Katharina and her family were so welcoming and kind. We had dinner there every evening and enjoyed the traditional food a lot. They offered lovely vegetarian options for me too, almost everything homemade, seasonal, regional. It was a wonderful experience, also for our baby.

“Warm hospitality”

The best hotel during our two weeks in Slovenia. Rooms are ok, but nothing special. what id special is the warm hospitality. You almost immediately feel as if you are staying with family. The food is also of excellent quality and in the same style, as if grandma was cooking. We absolutely loved it. If we would be the returning type, we’d come here every year, but as there are so many interesting destinations this will be a unique memory. Thank you, Katarina and family!

“Relaxing stay in a charming farm with great hospitality”

The welcome was amazing. We got a welcome drink and some appetizers and immediately felt very welcome. We arrived at 4PM and it was no problem to have dinner in the evening. Dinner is prepared with local ingredients, really very good and very cheap :-) We got lots of tips for things to do. We went for a hiking to mount Porezen (you can start from the farm) and it was amazing. 6 hours way and back but definitely worth it - didn't see a soul the whole day. We also went rafting in Tolmin which was a great experience. We always had dinner at the farm as it's quite far away from other restaurants.

The location of the farm is perfect, nestled in the Slovenian mountains, with beautiful views, peace and calm. The people are very friendly, have good language skills and take great care of guests. Food is excellent, home-cooked, local cuisine. Service is also excellent. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a great location with very good hospitality, then do this.
