“Wonderful stay in the heart of Slovenia with an exceptional host”

We stayed from September 10th to 17th at this farmhouse in Slovenia and the experience was excellent. The location is perfect: right in the center of the country, which makes it very easy to explore different regions. The surroundings are beautiful, a valley surrounded by mountains, with cows, chickens, and a friendly dog that give a true countryside feeling. The accommodation is very well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Our host, Magda, was incredibly kind and attentive from the very beginning. Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived well past midnight (much later than the usual check-in time), she waited for us with a warm welcome. She even took the time to send us Google Maps screenshots to avoid bad roads—something we really appreciated as we were traveling with a 3-month-old baby and it was raining heavily that night. Throughout the week she made us feel at home: she welcomed us with a drink, showed us a folder with routes, photos, and tips for visiting the area, and always asked how we were doing and what we had visited. On top of that, she surprised us with thoughtful gestures such as offering us a homemade cake baked by her daughter, venison sausages prepared by her husband, and on our last day, gifting us two bottles of their homemade liqueur. In short, this is a beautiful accommodation in an ideal location to discover Slovenia, but above all, it’s the outstanding hospitality that makes it so special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and authentic warmth.

Remote place with very nice view surrounded by animals (cat, dog, chickens, cows). The hosts are really nice and offered us home made limoncello when we arrived and home made jagermaster when we left. Wifi is good and the playground for the kids is a plus!

Magda was a wonderful host, kind and helpful and answering any questions we had. Our kids loved the play area outside. The photos do not do this property justice, it is a beautiful size, spacious and well decorated. We were 2 adults and 4 kids and never felt overcrowded. Magda even brought us some homemade bread and sausages during our stay which were delicious. Thank you Magda, we would definitely book again.

We stayed here on our skiing weekend at Cerkno. This house is perfectly close to the slopes, it takes 5 minutes by car to get to Počivalo parking and ski lift. The communication with the owner was easy and fast, we arranged to arrive early in the morning and to leave in the afternoon, and she accommodated our wishes. The house was clean, and comfortable, with all the facilities we could want

The host is super kind and helpful, you can truly feel at home in there. The house is surrounded by nature and animals, so you can take a break here. From the location, you can easily reach many tourist points in Slovenia.

Location was very quiet and with beautiful scenery. The owner was lovely and very helpful especially her dog who was very friendly. She gave us information where to go and where to eat when we did not cook in the house. The place was nice and clean. We had all we needed for a quiet vacation. Car is a must to reach this place.

Our hosts were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We had three fantastic nights and wished we could have stayed longer. So quiet and relaxing with expert advice on things to do in the area. Apartment had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend staying here for a wonderfully authentic stay in Slovenia.

The Owner of the Ferienwohnung is very kind and nice person. She is very helpful. We have talked a lot. She also showed us her own museum , which is very beautiful and nicely preserved. We had really great experience at this place. She has also given us a home made bottle of Jegameister. Which is amazinng in test. One can feel there the typical life of people in villages in slovenia. Very beatutiful and relaxing.
