Overview
Hotel Krvavec is situated at 1600 metres above sea level on the popular Krvavec Mountain in Cerklje na Gorenjskem, offering cosy accommodation in front of the ski slopes. You can also enjoy the mountain views on Plaža Krvavec, with great culinary experience. There is sauna available, with a Finish as well as an infra-red sauna. An activities room with pool, table hockey, darts and table football is available for guest use. Guests can also attend different adrenalin sports and rent bikes in summer and ski equipment in winter season. Plaža Krvavec serves authentic Slovenian food and international dishes at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is provided daily and the hotel features a bar as well. During the winter the hotel is accessible by personal car and by cable car, but it is advised to take the cable car which is included in the price of accomodation. “Overall, a nice hotel in a convenient location for the resort ski chair lifts.”
Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Most of the ski lifts and runs were close by and you could ski from and to the hotel easily. View from the hotel was absolutely stunning. Dedicated ski and boot room was very handy for getting ready and storing our equipment. Half-Board option was really great with an excellent selection at both breakfast and evening meals. Handy with nice bar/restaurant next door.

The location could not be better. The hotel is literally positioned in the middle of the ski run, which makes skiing extremely convenient and enjoyable. The staff were excellent on a daily basis throughout our stay. Food quality was good overall. The buffet selection in the hotel was somewhat basic and limited, but the quality of the food itself was consistently good. Food ordered from the next door restaurant menu was excellent and genuinely enjoyable, and it should be noted that the restaurant is part of the same hotel operation, with staff rotating between the hotel and the restaurant on a daily basis. Skiing itself was great, and the convenience factor is high. Ski passes can be purchased directly in the hotel lobby, and hotel guests receive a discount, which is a nice touch. Guests also receive a small daily discount at a nearby restaurant that offers live music on weekends. While the discount is a fixed amount rather than a percentage, it is still a welcome benefit.

“Kind staff”
Due to an internal issue, we were able to book a room on the day that hotel would close for the season. Everyone was so kind to still accommodate us and prepare breakfast. The hotel is up on the mountain and has a great view, also the sunset there is amazing. The room is a bit small but is comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. I’d come in the right period, you will be able to enjoy a lot of activities around like hiking, cable car, etc.

“A rest above the clouds”
Very kind staff, open to solve anything (we were late for dinner service because of a traffic jam, they waited for us). The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with a look over the whole Logar mountain range, we were stunned. The road up to the hotel is beautiful, fun, altough a bit long and can have problems with local cows😅 otherwise, i fully recommend this hotel

“Amazing location, but grab breakfast early”
Amazing location, nice staff. They communicated very nicely, handled late check-in without a problem. Nice mountain biking and hiking paths during summer, and nice slopes during winter. Amazing view from the terrasse with sunbeds. Great atmosphere overall.

The hotel is in a very nice location, I recommend coming early for dinner and breakfast, for some reason they are not replenished, so if you come later, you have no choice... the mattresses were too soft for us, but that's a matter of preference...
