Overview
Set in Villanova, Hotel La Rotonda is just off the A14 and A25 motorways, halfway between Chieti and Pescara. It offers a summer swimming pool and a family-run restaurant specialising in meat and fish. Rooms here are air conditioned and offer a TV and free Wi-Fi. Each one has a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries. Continental breakfast is available each morning, while the restaurant offers Italian cuisine and Abruzzo specialities at dinner. La Rotonda Hotel provides free parking and is 15 minutes' drive from the beaches of Pescara. Chieti town centre is also 15 minutes away by car.

“5 star stay at a 3 star hotel”
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Rotonda. We stayed in room 208, which had a large balcony on the pool side. This is a 3-star hotel, but the family's kindness, the quality of the food, and their passion for accommodating their guests are worth 4 stars - even 5! We had dinner one evening by the pool, and when I made a comment about the mosquitoes, they immediately brought us some very good mosquito spray. Try the waffles at breakfast - they are soooo good! :) The food in the restaurant is also delicious. We highly recommend eating in. When we come back to this region, we know where we'll be staying. Arrivederci!

“A small friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and a restaurant with excellent food.”
The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable, obviously recently refurbished and with air conditioning. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also really good.

“Expensive for what they offer”
- It doesn´t make sense the price with what they offer. I had much better and bigger rooms for half of the price in Italy, and the location is not near anything. - The breakfast was all packages and not healthy. It was a family of 6-7 member who got fresh fruits, fresh cut cheese and some other stuff, that they put on their table. Only one another couple got also such a treatment. If one has to pay more to get such a breakfast, it was not in the offer when booking it. - The man in charge of giving the coffee at breakfast (you can´t get it, you just get on cup served and that´s it) didn´t give me my coffee. I had to go and ask for it because I saw that he was serving it to the other customers, but not to me. He said he didn´t see me. - The staff members were not really friendly. - The lift was not functioning in the morning and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to come up and bring my big luggage down, but when after breakfast I wanted to bring the small luggage down, it was just not possible, and I had to bring it down the 3 floors by the stairs.

“Excellent, warm and friendly hotel”
Arrived at our destination and was met by the owner. Greeted warmly and welcoming. We were supplied with drink and food as a welcome to their establishment. The property is well kept, cleaned and the garden has a swimming pool with lovely display of flowers and the scent of jasmine. Evening meal was delicious and we were kept well stocked with wine and bottled water and all included in the evening meal price. The food was all home made and the owner prepared our breakfast every morning and we had the option of continental as well. Our room was cleaned daily by two wonderful ladies. There was a language barrier as we didn't speak Italian and the owner didn't speak English, however we were able to communicate, The hotel is run by a lovely, wonderful family and their attention to detail was second to none. If we went back to that area we would not hesitate to book that hotel.
