Friendly welcome to a beautiful home. Bernard and Noubar were great hosts and made you feel part of the family. Bernard’s cheeky humour and Noubar’s sublime food were highlights. As was the bed, very comfortable.

Noubar and Bernard were the best hosts. As the best hosts, they offered us the best bed and served us the best dinner and breakfast. Although my wife is afraid of animals, they kindly kept them under control, and she was willing to take the risk to enjoy the best croissant. Without a doubt, we will definitely visit this place again. Oh, and the morning croissant disappeared too quickly for us to take a photo. I won’t describe the taste in detail—you should try it for yourself.

I was delightfully surprised by our stay at Noubar. The food is simply fabulous. Vegtables from the garden, flavours from around the world. Perfectly executed from end to end... and yes, the croissants are really that good. We were part of a large group, seated around an old banquet table, and our every need was met by our attentive hosts. I'm already looking for an excuse to go back.

Our trip from Toulouse to Bordeaux was planned to include visits to such French attractions as Albi, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, and Rocamadour. We decided to spend one night in the vicinity of these places. Of course, these places left an indelible impression, but we got absolutely unexpected and vivid emotions from spending just one night at the “Noubar” hotel. The hotel, which is surrounded by greenery and tranquility, and which we accidentally booked, turned out to be an oasis of hospitality, style, comfort, and warmth. The hotel owner, the creative and charming Bernard, welcomed us with his loyal and friendly Belgian Shepherd Gaston by his side. Bernard, along with his partner and culinary alchemist Noubar, orchestrated an unforgettable experience for us. The exquisite dinner and the delicious breakfast with freshly baked amazing croissants added bright colors to our trip. Do not consider “Noubar” as a place for a one-time stop - you will get true pleasure if you do not rush and spend more time in the hotel. “Noubar” is in excellent condition, everything in the hotel is fresh, new and of the highest quality. We will definitely be back to visit Bernard.

What can I say about Hotel Noubar?Nestled in a charming village near Saint-Cirque-Lapopie, hotel offers a truly tranquil and serene setting. We were delighted to begin our stay with a special surprise - Bernard, the owner, personally greeted us with his clever companion Gaston, who eagerly took charge of our suitcases and led us to our rooms. It's fascinating to learn that even the famous actor Jude Law had been captivated by our hotel's charm and wrote a glowing review, particularly praising Noubar's croissants - which we couldn't wait to try ourselves! The beautifully decorated rooms had very comfortable mattresses that guarantee a peaceful night's sleep. Bernard, as the owner, efficiently handled all aspects of the hotel with warmth and friendliness, while Noubar, talented chef, created dishes infused with delightful Beirutian-Armenian influences. Our dinner experience was simply superb. We started with champagne and engaging conversations before being seated in the candlelit dining room. The atmosphere was enhanced by soothing music, and Noubar wowed us with his exceptional culinary skills. While everyone savored the delicious baked lamb, I opted for the vegetarian option - fried artichokes that were truly the best I have ever tasted! Each meal felt like a personal affair, as if we were cherished guests in their own home. The following morning was sunny but very chilly. Despite the comfort of our beds, the aroma of freshly-baked croissants filled our room, coaxing us awake and making us eager to indulge. At breakfast, we were surprised by the green eggs, sourced from the chickens freely roaming in the hotel's garden. And Noubar's homemade jam left a lasting impression - we were even gifted a whole jar to take with us! But let me tell you, the croissants were absolutely divine - perfectly crunchy, melty, and utterly perfect. Words can't do them justice, so you must experience them at least once in your lifetime!

The breakfast was much more than expected. The croissants were the best we ever tasted, prepared by Noubar, a well recognized chef. Also they offer us a great dinner with the most amazing sorbettes.

Booked a little bit by luck and we were definitely lucky ! Situated near the cute village Saint Cirq Lapopie in a quiet countryside, the tastefully renovated house is very welcoming. As well as the hosts that are very kind and are looking after their guests. The bedroom was large, nicely decorated with a huge comfortable bed! We were lucky to have the occasion to have a diner at Noubar : a warm night, on the terrace, with candles and so delicious ! In the morning, a scrumptious breakfast was expecting us with fresh pastries. I would definitely come back if we are in the region again.

Gorgeous house in a wonderful location,super tastefully renovated. Noubar is the most gracious host who cooks the most amazing lamb I have ever had. Added to that he also bakes fantastic breads and croissants. My room was super modern with a huge very comfortable bed. I would definitely like to stay here again whenever I get the chance.
