Good location in the city center. The staff in the breakfast room and at the reception were nice and friendly, except for one older man who seemed a bit reserved. Parking is available at the train station across the street (within a 5-minute walk) for 2,50€ per day, with a ticket provided by the hotel. There are also about five parking spaces reserved for hotel guests in a side street near the hotel for 5€ per day, but they were usually full.

“No black out curtains, bad pillows, terrible sleep”
Good Breakfast and excellent location, but I wouldn’t stay again. Really bad pillows, doesn’t have black our curtains so wake very early. On the reservation it says that children are free and they get a bed, this is not true, they don’t have a bed, only cot and they are expected to sleep with you in the bed. I have book many hotels and if you can book a double room for three people is because they will put a little pull out bed for child. Otherwise you’re not allowed to book a double room and you pay for a triple. Anyway, besides that, beds are not comfy, pillows are bad and shower is terrible.

I stayed only for one night. I chose Hotel Europa for its central location and near the train station. It was ideal for visiting Celje a charming town. The breakfast was exceptional. My room as I expected was an attic room with velux. Clean and well equipped.

We come every year to visit family and they are always so welcoming and helpful. The staff are wonderful. It is always clean and smells amazing in the hotel. The cafe is a great spot for lunch or cakes.

“A very enjoyable stay”
I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Evropa. Everything went well for my trip to your beautiful city Celje. I had the pleasure of meeting the Irish Ambassador to Slovenia, Madame Ambassador Caroline Phelan while staying in your hotel and who was attending the football match Celje v Shelbourne on 18th December as a VIP.
