Overview
Located in Andalucía’s Sierra Norte Nature Reserve, this impressive converted monastery is a National Monument. La Cartuja features a shared dining room, shared living room with TV and a terrace with a pond located in a separate building just 100 metres from the main building. It features a fireplace. There is also a library-lounge with a TV. Staff at reception can provide information about hiking routes. The beautiful city of Seville is 1.5 hours’ drive from La Cartuja.

“A historic, serene setting but let down by need for some redecoration and improve cleaning.”
Serenity just the best, history just the best and the Manager a lovely lady. We took our two small dogs, and were upgraded to an ideal setting, straight out the of French doors to our own grassed area with orange trees. Perfecto! Nobody bothered us, we could come and go as we pleased, We liked that! Overall a very nice stay, although the church was not for the faint hearted or people with a spiritual nature. Could be very creepy in parts, at night especially!! Overall a very nice stay, Muchas gracias! xxxx

This is a crazily beautiful place to spend some relaxing days - and the hosts are so accommodating and lovely. We had such a great stay here and would certainly recommend it!

The old monastry is a very beautiful and really unique place, which was perfect for a few calm & relaxing days and for watching the skys in the night.
