We liked the upstairs seating area where breakfast was served, and we could go up there anytime to chill and admire the view. Top marks for giving each room a large container of water, reducing plastic bottle waste.

“Great hotel in an ideal location to explore Caye Caulker”

This hotel is a great base to explore Caye Caulker and everything its surroundings have to offer. The location is ideal, very central, with everything reachable within 15mins walk. The breakfast on rooftop was great, the room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and a good shower.

“I had a wonderful stay!”

I stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every second. Perfectly located close to everything, yet so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is served on a rooftop terrace with a beautiful sea view. There is a different breakfast variety every day. Very pleasant hosts. Good AC and very clean.

“Small, quiet, cosy place in the middle of the action”

We had a bit of difficulty finding the place, but at the end it is easy, the entrance is at the soccerfield 😁. Yocamatsu is a nice little B&B, offering very personal service, and the location is awesome. In the middle of the center, however still quiet at night. We booked the “sea” room (I mistakenly thought it had sea views, but it did not). The room was very spacious and we loved the porch. Luis was always there for us, still being discrete and provided whatever we needed. Breakfast was very nice too, Luis does a great job with it. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel, but it has a 5 star service! And the dogs and the cat, oh my … just fell in love with them. They are sooooo sweet!!! If you are looking for a small, cosy place in the middle of the action, yet quiet, look no further.

“Cheaper Inland bed and breakfast”

I loved the tower where we had breakfast every morning with a beautiful view! The area walking into rooms is full of beautiful trees and feels very tropical.

We didn't actually stay there! What happened was we were shown to a small dark room with 2 windows, both of which looked out onto a high metal fence a foot or so in front of the windows. I expressed surprise and asked if they had another room. No they said. When I said this wasn't what we expected they invited us to leave, with a refund (minus booking fees) . So feeling unwelcome we did, but this was high season and we had few options at this point. So be warned and check that you're booking a 'Cabana' and not a 'room'

“Fabulous quirky place to stay - highly recommended”

Lovely quirky property in the centre of Caye Caulker. Exceptional service from the team there. Able to use the bikes for a nominal fee to explore the island. Hot water and a nice bathroom. Air conditioning in the room and water cooler available. Lovely little balcony area with hammock. Fabulous breakfast which the team kindly made earlier for me as I had to leave early in the morning to go home.

We enjoyed the lovely room and hammock on the balcony. Very comfortable bed and tasty breakfast with views over the sea from the roof top terrace. Hospitable helpful staff and friendly owner.

The whole experience lodging here was excellent .. Really nothing negative can be said .. Louis & Maria (manager & staff) went far and beyond to meet all our needs .. Brian (owner) even checked in and greeted us multiple times to make sure we were also satisfied with everything .. Location is awesome .. just tucked away from the main street but close to all stores / beachfront / Split / water taxi etc .. Really Really good .. Breakfasts which were included were fabulous !! 7 mornings and always different .. rooftop views were we ate was breathtaking .. We also chose to eat on our patio by the room on other days .. Also felt very secure there .. Wifi too .. For our budget this was totally worth it .. Would definitely go back .. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, aircon was effective. Easy walking distance from the ferry dock, close proximity to bars and restaurants. Good recommendations for trips.

upon arrival we were greeted by check-in staff (Luis) very kind, and friendly he showed us our rooms and was quite helpful by explaining us the breakfast times and other relevant information Breakfast area was very nice, with a great vier Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, well prepared meal and fresh brewed coffee. Owner also greeted us and shared a good time of his with us location was very good as it allowed us to visit near by beaches and places Closet space and mini fridge were good addition

The staff received us with a smile, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. breakfast is simple yet very good. Nice coffee, fresh fruit, and a great view from where breakfast is served. Proximity to the beach and other restaurants and bars is very good as well. We were honored to meet the owner, very easy going and relaxed, very polite and we had a good conversation over breakfast.

“Cute oasis in the heard of the island.”

Yocamatsu is a very cute and cozy compound right in the heard of Caye Caulker. The staff and dogs are friendly and welcoming, and I felt right at home there. Luis makes a great breakfast each morning and the view and breeze while you eat are a perfect way to start the day. The air conditioning and wifi both worked well. Luis recommended a trip up to Bliss Beach in the upper island and it was well worth the visit. I ended up going twice and spending the day there swimming, drinking cocktails, and reading in the beach chairs and hammocks.
