Lovely accommodation, a bit outside of all the hustle and bustle. Bikes are provided by the owner, which is brilliant to explore the island. Great communication with Heidi who also organized airport pick up, ferry and golf cart taxi. The perfect extea was the big pool and the deck with hammock. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.

“An excellent stay, everything we needed.”

This was the best property we stayed at on a month long trip in Belize / Mexico. We were very impressed by the finish of the place and the attention to detail. The pool was excellent, we had kids and they loved it and long enough for a few lengths for us too. The cabin was kitted out very well, everything we needed to cook some simple meals. The hosts were excellent, very responsive! Also great location for the airport, and in the quieter part of the island which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

There were large cleaning fees added to the booking at the point when we arrived to the location, we payed at the full amount at the start of the stay. Would prefer to see this cost in the price and not separate.

Perfect distance from the strip. Bikes provided so getting around is not a problem. Loved the pool for a cooling swim in the afternoon.

We really enjoyed the location of the accommodation, which was on the quieter side of the island. It was easy to get around the island by bike. The lush surroundings and the swimming pool were very pleasant, and the overall atmosphere of the place was relaxed. We stayed in the upstairs of the Purple Cabin, which had a lovely terrace where we spent a lot of time. A warm recommendation!

Pool was ok, but the walls underwater were a bit rough on your skin if you brush your knees or arms on it. The apartments felt spacious too.

It was quiet and the pool was clean and the staff was polite and very helpful.

We stayed at the pool house and it was great. There was a fan and an AC in every room, the towels were soft, the kitchen was well equipped, there was the hair-dryer, a smart tv in every room and well-functioning Wi-Fi. The place was quiet and the pool was cleaned every morning by the staff. The outdoor chairs were comfortable and every house has a hammock. Mosquitos were not an issue in the house. It was amazing to swim in the pool while enjoying the palms and the flowers of the garden. You could also see the hummingbirds flying sometimes.

We stayed in the Hummingbird Annex. It had a lovely veranda with hammock and seating. Apartment was well equipped, including drinking water. Pool area was lovely. Heydi met us when we arrived and was very helpful. Bikes are free to use as it’s a short walk/cycle to the main part of the island where the restaurants etc are.

Nice cabins, modern, clean, good airconditioning, nice sofa! Small but nice pool with room to sit! Free drinking water also!

A really comfortable cabin with aircon and well-equipped kitchen and everything you need. The location is a little far from town, so we really appreciated the free bikes- you can ride all around the island! The owner also helped us book a snorkelling tour with Victor, which was amazing!

Just out of town and very quiet. Loved the well equipped kitchen, great tv reception, great wifi, bikes, screened porch and the pool. Great host and staff. It was easy to walk to the airport and downtown. Low bug count.

Everything was perfect! Vert nice & clean, comfy beds, well placed, all equipment in the kitchen, nice persons that rent this small cuty hotel. Nice pool too.

We had a great stay at Hummingbird! We stayed in the Pink Cabin, which consists of one larger cabin with one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchen and then another smaller cabin with a bedroom and bathroom (and a refrigerator!). The beds and pillows were really very comfortable! There is a room next to the smaller cabin with some chairs and a hammock. The walls of this room are mosquito screens; ideal to enjoy the hammock without mosquitoes getting in. We loved the pool as well. There is enough seating and there were inflatable tubes to use which was great. The pool is very clean and there is enough shade. There is free drinking water in the kitchen. Wifi worked perfectly both in the larger and the smaller cabin. Airconditioning worked everywhere as well. There were bikes we could use; we didn’t use them but they looked sturdy and seemed to work. Heydi was responsive on Whatsapp and checked in with us halfway during our stay to make sure we were fine.

The appartements are really nice, with a nice bed, a private kitchen, hot water. It is a bit far from town, but the bicycle are a nice touch. The two men that are taking care of the commun area were really nice.
