Don’t stay here!! The photos hide the fact that the place is under construction. The staff is rude. They only cleaned the room once out of our 5 night stay. They are in the middle of a construction project, piles of gravel and cinders blocks in the entrance. We were forced to stay in a half constructed building. The bathroom door would not close properly without trapping you inside. The door fell off the wall 3 times. The staff was very aggressive and dismissive of the about the problems. They consistently lied to us! The communication was rude and aggressive when we expressed any concerns about the state of the property. The shower water smelled like sewerage and was cold! The toilet clogged and they couldn’t fix it. The tvs didnt work. The pans provided for cooking were rusting. The magic carpet off the pier was moldy and another hotel guest decided to remove it so the kids could swim off the pier. All the bikes and kayaks were old and falling apart. Everything was dirty, old and falling apart. You have many choices in Caye Caulker--it’s a fun island and everyone else we met was delightful. However staying at this property makes me never want to return.

“Peaceful and quiet”

It was clean, quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of comfy beach seats and a beautiful dock to hang around on. And no Sargassum!

The location was on the beach and close to the Split and restaurants. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the south side. The view from the 4th floor was amazing!

Great location on the north side and therefore much quieter (which was to our preference). The pool is refreshing and the sunset from the dock is incredible! There’s a handful of restaurants on the north side and otherwise plenty of restaurants in the south side which is only a 30 second ferry ride away. Would 100% recommend this to anyone! Room was new and modern and had everything we need. The liquor license for Gregg’s bar should come through any day now hopefully meaning cold drinks and food directly on the property as well! Final bonus point: adorable dogs.

Everything about this resort was amazing. It was clean and prestine shape. The owner Greg was amazing and incredibly helpful. It was a nice quiet escape that we needed. I will recommend this resort to anyone heading to caye cauker.

“If you’re staying in Caye Caulker stay here .”

We stayed in the rear “Garden view” appartment. Whilst initially we were abit underwhelmed by the fact there was no garden there was a view to the sea on the other side of the garden and we actually grew to like the privacy this unit gave us . The room itself was very nice ,very spacious and fully equipped . Having been all around the island we agree this is certainly the best location to stay . The beach was amazing and always quiet , the water crystal clear and the pool was really nice to cool down in . Complimentary Kayaks were good to have. Generally The beaches on the South Island were small , lots of seaweed and lots of walking people going past you the whole time. The location on the north island we found great . A way 5 minute walk to the split and never more than a 2/3 minute wait for the ferry . The clip card you can buy made it about $1.50 a crossing . So you benefited from being quiet at night whilst being a closer distance to the south hub than many hotels on the south side itself. Complimentary bicycles if required .

Beautiful property, clean and new, responsive on-site owner, private beach with kayaks and more, and on the quieter north island. Easy to get to the south island as the ferry that crosses the split is a few minutes' walk away. Bikes provided which are a great way to explore both islands.

This place is just incredible. booked this stay as a gift for my partner and we could not of had a better time if we tried! Rene is an absolute gem of a human being who goes far and beyond out of his way to give you the best experience this beautiful island has to offer. Hope to see you in Australia one day mate! couldn’t recommend bay towers more.

“Perfect stay for a chill-out holiday.”

Great, quiet place to chill out and have a very relaxing stay. The host Rene and his employees are very nice people and will help you whenever they can. The property is located on the north side of Caye Caulker. You can get a ferry on short walking distance and Rene has a private shuttle service on specific times, which makes this property very easy accessible. Would recommend this place very much if you’re looking for a chill-out holiday, where you can find things to do whenever you feel like it, and escape the busier south side. The property owns a nice beach (without seaweed), great pool and you can use the bikes and canoes whenever you want (for free). We will definitely book this again!

The location was great, felt like we were on our own private island. Dock all to ourselves each day to swim and tan, kayaks and floaties as well. Crossing the split was simple and never gave us any inconvenience doing so.

Bay Towers is located on the North island of Caye Caulker which offers much more privacy and secludedness than offerings on the South Island. Despite this increased distance to most of the attractions on Caye Caulker, the host offered a ferry service which was immediately available whenever we asked. Rene, the host, is very welcoming, helpful and has a lot of local knowledge which he was eager to share with us, recommending good tours and restaurants! The pool is refreshing and clean and the pier and beach area are incredibly relaxing places to soak in sunrise and sunset, away from the hustle bustle of the South Island. We would recommend this place to those who wish to have access to the amenities of Caye Caulker but enjoy a slightly more relaxing, private and quiet stay.

“Lovely place to stay”

Bay Towers fully met our expectations. The choice to opt for the Northern part was spot on. Rene - the host - is always willing to take us back and forth with his boat between North and South. Moreover, Rene is generally the most helpful and pleasant host we have experienced in a very long time. As the Northern part has fewer accommodations and people, there is more flora and fauna such as birds and iguanas. We also spotted crocodiles a few times. We can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for space, privacy and a pleasant environment.
