“The one and only.”
One of the great hotels of provincial Brazil. It’s a bit tired which is an enormous part of its charm. Wonderful atmosphere and bygone original rooms and corridors. Family owned and run with staff who are delightful. Incredible breakfast in an incredible room.

“Exceptional hospitality in a historic hotel!”
This is a wonderful hotel built as a casino-hotel back in 1892 and functioning as a hotel to this day, maintaining many of the original features and showcasing many antique furniture and items. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room, while "old", was very clean, and we really enjoyed all the facilities and activities. The shower had amazing pressure and temperature! This is a fantastic place for couples and families to stay. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and they also offered a fantastic afternoon coffee during our stay, as a courtesy of the hotel. The location was excellent and close to everything! We'll definitely be back again!

The history behind this hotel built in 1800...the antique wood furniture...really going back in time. Loved the staircase & huge dinning area.
